Is he making wet diapers?

Of course he's going to fuss at the breast when he knows in the end he's going to get a bottle, which he doesn't have to work at.

When I EBF, the number of wet diapers is lower.
Owen is not given a bottle unless I am at work or as a last resort when I am home. I don't give up easily when I bf either. I try and try from the time I get home til the time I go back to work.
Trust me when I say it would have been easier to bottle feed... Owen was born with pneumonia and a pneumothorax. He couldn't latch for most of the time he was in the NICU. When we came home it was a fight still because he had become used to a bottle from being in the hospital. I had pumped and pumped for him because I was determined for him to have breastmilk, plus consulted with a lactation consultant to get things going right. We had a rough start, but I fought to bf and I'm not ready to give it up. I'm just afraid that having to return to work early may have damaged my supply for at least part of the day.

I really think you should see an LC again, or at least contact the La Leche League

Hi! I started relactating all of a sudden, and I haven't breastfed since my daughter was 5 months. She is now 14 months and I really want to take advantage of this and start breastfeeding! The only problem? She has absolutely NO interest in the breast   Help?

Pump mama and use supplements. Try getting milk to come first. There are also these artificial supplementers that might get your LO interested. This will provide your LO with a reward rather than having her dry nurse and it will allow stimulation of your breast.

Also how often are you pumping?

Well today I just randomly had milk with no pumping at all. Today I have been hand expressing every hour since. I am going to buy a pump tomorrow hopefully. Will the artificial supplementer help when she won't even consider putting the breast in her mouth?

I am so happy! All day today I would offer Savannah the breast and she wouldn't go near it, and now she is really starting to get interested! She keeps coming to it and opening her mouth. She pulls away at the last second but this last time she actually got a taste of it before she pulled away!!!! A woman's body is an amazing thing! It's been 9 months and I might have a real shot at breastfeeding again!

I am ecstatic! I was starting to think that we would just have to pump, because she was showing NO interest in actually latching! But now I think we have a shot! I just don't want to push it on her.

Thank you for posting this it is only after reading your profile and reading the definition of "Boob Nazi" that I have decided that I want to bf. My LO is 8 weeks old and I bf for 1 week. I was so ready to bf my little one while I was pregnant but after a few days I realized how hard t really was. Spencer was not even 6lbs when he was born and his tiny mouth made latching impossible to my DD breast. My nipples cracked and the pain became worse then labor lol After a week of still trying to bf I started getting major pains in my back so I saw my doctor. I ended having a serve kidney infection and theantibioticsmy doctor prescribed I couldn't bf on, so I turned to pumping which killed my supply. After 2 and half weeks of theantibioticI can only express drops of breast milk.. which is where I am today. Starting the 27th [when I can get my pump back] I'm starting the boot camp! Is there any momma's that would like to be myre-lactationbuddy?

I'm Jennifer and here is my story
I am attempting to re-lactate so I can breastfeed Kyleigh. I tried to put her on my boob for a little while, but she wasn't having that. Im going to try some more and see what she does. I just started doing this to get my milk back yesterday, but my left boob feels like it is filling up already. Is that to soon? It feels like it did when I had my son. It feels really heavy. My right boob does not feel that way. If she wont take my boob when I get milk {and I hope I do } I am just going to pump and give it to her that way.

Any breastfeeding momma have any tips for me?

Thanks

I'm Bobbie and here is my story. It is not about low supply or about RL. but it is extremelyrelevantto BF mamas.

My daughter was bornDecember19 2009. I was intent on BF. we did have latching problems so i figured i would pump for her. here was my problem though.

Every time i had let down and the entire time i was pumping i felt lowerthandirt. I also felt violated and had resented my daughter. I was very negative and depressed that every time i would pump mu DH would not leave me alone in the room.

I couldn't take it anymore. I hated the way i felt and itwasn'tgoing away or lessening.and i felt like the worst mother for quiting.

2 months after I quit a mama on here told me about a conditioncalledD-MER.
I read about it and realized what was happening was not my fault andmanageable. I encourage all of you to take a look at this site and help mamas who have said they felt this way.

Most doctors do not know about it. My doctor didn't and neither did my daughters pedi. please help people become more aware. maybe more mothers can get treated an ave that wonderful bond withtheirchildren that i missed out on.
