'Lilith Spelman'

I have gotten A LOT of crap about my daughters name... i think it's beautiful, both grandmothers call her "Lily" because they both hate "Lilith" If you hate it, please tell me why (if there is a reason why) I'm just curious. Please & Thank you.

That would piss me off they wont call her Lilith just because they don't like it  she is your daughter!

By the way, I think the name is cute!

i think its lovely! its a very nice name.

Itsnot the worst name i've ever heard. The more I say it the more it grows on me. I would call her Lil. I always try to tell people to name there babies whatever they please because its not my child to name. I get a lot of people telling me my sons name is too popular. But they didn't push him out of there crotch, so there naming rights are pretty much zero  

I love it, but I guess that's because we were going to name our daughter Lilith.

my MIL says it makes her think of a character from 'Cheers' but i don't know who she is talking about. :/ They will eventually get over it and call her by her name, i would hope.

its more decent then lots of names i've heard.

that would make me mad that they dont call her by her name.

my family doesnt like the way i spell leyah and they try to spell it "Leah" & i ask them who their talking about.. lol

i don't mind lilly. i never call her by her name, i still call her baby. But it's LIL-ITH

Well then she can get pregnant and give birth to another baby and name it whatever she wants!  

Theres nothing wrong with nicknames, but if they are giving you crap and calling her something else just for that reason, thats another thing.  Its not like its a crazy name or anything...

thank you. Thats what we were going for, but im getting A LOT of negitive feedback. Oh well, its her name... we did however not give her a middle name so she can choose her own eventually.

LOL! yeh, i don't mind nicknames as of yet. They will have to just suck it up and move on.
