Actually, if a septum piercing is done right, it's not through cartilage either. It should be pierced through the thin membrane of skin right below the cartilage. Had my septum done for about 2 years now and absolutely love it.

i thought so my cousin has both hers done ie had worser pain than my belly ring but still the thought is scary lol..what about the monroe does it hurt?

Not done "right." Depends how you want it. Where you want it. Some people want it done back and up, kinda? Hard to explain. I've had mine since I was 14, I'm 19 now. And finished my body piercing course.I love mine too, and mine's done the same as yours, not through the cartilae, but the skin.

I find my lips, and monroe were nothing worse than a lobe piercing. It's scarier cos the body piercer will be all up in your face, lol. But the pain is almost nothing.

yea i like my piercer hes like a Dr lol..it feels like a Dr setting too soo hes a cool old man
