15 month old little girl. Feisty but cute. Thinks sleep is for the weak.

Is anyone else having problems with their toddler sleeping? Mine has always been a great baby and sleeper. She started sleeping through the night at three days old. She went through a phase from 7-9 months where she would wake up once a few hours after going to bed. Now she is 15 months old and wakes up an hour after falling asleep and does not go back to sleep for another 2-3 hours. Driving me nuts! She started this about a month ago.

yes   bailey wakes up when i get to sleep, i hate it so much because she kicks and screams and cries for about an hour or so and than falls back to sleep on the couch...i literally get like 10 hours of sleep a week

That is how I feel. I cannot fall asleep until she goes to sleep. Some nights, she does not go back to sleep until 3am.

im afraid when we go on vacation b/c we are staying in a hotel room with his family and they have kids that might wake up when she does this...i gave them all a warning but i will still feel bad when bailey starts and if they start

we are on the couch right now because she wont sleep in her bed and my bed isnt big enough for 3 people...im starting to think that she doesnt want me to sleep at all

My son does the same thing. He started awesomely sleeping from 11pm-5am when he was little, then he began to wake up once or twice around 7-9 months figured it was the teething, and now hes just up twice a night and will scream bloody murder for hours if i dont breast feed him. He naps crappy too. Only 2 hours a day! He runs around like crazy. I really dont know what to do with him. Does sound an awful lot like a robot.

I believe that is what Alaina is trying to do. I just started an awesome job and have to be up at seven am. Ugh.
