Safety 1st Car Seat

My husband and I got this car seat tonight. We read about it, and liked it. Any of you have this, what did you think about it?

I don't have it, but I would like to try it!

I was going to get that the other day but I didnt like how the pads would be right by his face - I dont think he would like it.

I think it would be better for my sons neck, so he doesnt slump over so much. And you can adjust them so they aren't near his face.

It seems like a good seat and has good safety reviews!

That's what I was thinking too. I liked the idea and the look in the pictures, but when I seen it up close I thought those air bags were really big. I think it would annoy them that they couldn't look out the windows on the side too, but that may just be my kid.

Yeah probably - my son is 2 though so he doesnt slump.

Then where would they go? Isn't the point of it that they are by the head?

She said face. You can adjust them so they aren't completely in the childs face, or the comfort or the child.

Yeah it seemed like they would press against his chubby cheeks.

Aw yea, well, besides that the car seat looks nice, and like any other car seat with the pads. Worse case scenario, we would take them off. I think if I start him off in it, then he'll like it throughout the rest of the time. And it could keep the sun out of his eyes too.

Watching, I love this seat and all the reviews and ratings so far, we are looking to invest in one for my LO, but still undecided.

I won't be able to give you a full review for a many more months, haha. But we got this at babies r us, and brought in a crappy old used car seat. You get 25% when you bring in any conditionbassinets, strollers, travel systems, play yards and high chairs. It was a good deal for a 220 dollar car seat, we got 60 dollars off.
