ENTRIES...

we went to the park and had a picnic in the gazebo. it was cute. a horrible storm came up really fast so we had to run back to the car and cut everything short. we were both soaking wet.lightning struck close enough while dh was putting the stuff in the trunk that he felt tingly and all the hair on his body stood up. we went to my parents house. tornados had been spotted of the area of the park we were at and my parents house. he proposed in the car in my parents driveway. it was hilarious.

Well on my 18th birthday (March 18th, 2009)I was 5.5 months preggo & I wanted to go hiking on a special mountain. So Nate (my now fiancee) took off of work and we hiked that mountain. Me being very tired took us a long time to get up there but I managed. Once we got to the top we looked around at all the beautiful scenery! We ate our lunch that we packed & just relaxed. While he was still sitting down I stood up and was just looking at everything. He said my name and I turned around to him holding the ring. He got down on one knee and said "Will you marry me?" of course I was speechless. I got super excited and then said "YES! Yes I will marry you!" After a little while of still relaxing and being super excited we decided to walk back down. So we put the ring away in our backpack and started to walk back down. (I didnt want the ring to get dirty or fall off the mountain). --So I was proposed on top of a mountain, on my birthday, 5.5 months pregnant!!--

I found out 20 days after meeting my husband that we were pregnant. I was told I wouldprobably never have children so we werent careful. A week after we confirmed the pregnancy with my OB he proposed to me. I fell asleep like newly pregnant girls do and when I woke up he was beside the bed on his knee with a ring in my face. He told me I was the only woman in the world he wanted to have children with and asked if I would be his wife and grow old with him. I cried, accepted the ring and said yes....then promptly ran to the bathroom and barfed pregnant chick style! He now tells everyone "When I proposed to my wife, she threw up!"
We have been married since Aug of 07 and the doctors were wrong, we have two beautiful children. 2 years old and 8 months old hes the love of my life.

Mine wasn't very romantic....
We went to a holiday party, were all dressed up, had a good time, danced, ate socialized ect. When we were leaving he got kinda quiet, not really thinking about it i got in the truck and he said "I Love You, and i've loved you since the first day i saw you" we were kissing and all of a sudden i tasted this metal in my mouth, so i stopped spit it out and there it was a Beautiful engagement ring. Come to find out it was his grandmothers and his mother had sent it in the mail a week before...It was sitting on the table for a week and i didn't even know! It was so cute. My husband isn't the romantic type so i didn't expect anything extravagant but I loved it all the same.

Paul (my husband), His nephew and I went to Old town Sacramento in Aprial 2005. We went there for my birthday. We did the railroad museum. Then walked around for an hour. We hopped on a horse drawn carriage and went for a river and park ride. When we got to the river he said remember when I told you that you could either have a new kitten or a ring and then this morning told you were not got getten the kittem (at this moment his nephew pulled out the ring) He said while I got you the ring. He then asked me to marry him.
His nephew was there because my sil had the ring at her house that was 2 hrs away from our home and the only way to get the ring with out me thinking something was up was his nephew comming. His nephew was very happy he got to be apart of it and carried the rings for our wedding as well.

My husband and I started dating when we were 14 and 15 We were 18 and 19 when we got engaged ... In our town we have a beautiful downtown area that has shops and all that and then a board walk that is about 3 miles long that goes down to the beach and the pier! We spent TONS of time there when we were dating .. even had our first kiss down there (during a fireworks display ) lol It was the day after Thanksgiving (and CRAZY warm here for that time of year) so we decided to grab a cup of coffee and get one last walk in down there before it snowed for the rest of winter! There was not a sole down there that day either! As we walked he kept stopping and pointing out all these spots that would make good engagement spots and saying stuff like " I wonder if anyone has gotten engaged here before" or "I bet this would make a good spot!" ... after a while we walked up on our first kiss spot ... and he of course stopped there and kissed me like he always did when we went passed.. and when he didnt do it then I was starting to get a little annoyed! LOL We made it all the way down to the pier and down to the light house... where we were sitting watching the sunset... He got down on his knee and asked me to marry him! <3

ooohhh fun! the only pics i have of the two of us together are with the kids, lol so thats gonna have to do. But it still sounds like fun.
Away we go....My hubby proposed to me the night before my baby shower with my son, which was September 10th 2005. He had been acting kind of strange the whole day, like standoffish, i was afraid he was getting cold feet about the baby, and i was a little upset, and being pregnant i started doing laundry and laundry and laundry so that i didn't have to be in the same room with him, he finally came in the laundry room and asked me what was wrong, i burst into tears saying i was afraid he was going to leave me becuase of the way he had been acting, he looked me right in the eye and said he wanted to always be by my side, and knelt down and pulled out my engagement ring and asked me to marry him. I can't even describe the way i felt that my best friend wanted me to marry him. I cried and cried, i was so happy. I went back into the living room to find a huge bouquet of flowers and a box of candy sitting on the table for me (where he had them stashed i have no idea, it must have been outside somewhere but he still wont tell me) and then he said we were going to go to dinner and when we arrived at the resturant i was greeted by my ENTIRE family waiting for us, with a big sign my niece made that said "CONGRATULATIONS AUNT JAN AND JAMES" it was so amazing, and wonderful. We were married less than2 months later and have been married for 4 wonderful years now.

For 3 months we insisted that we were JUST FRIENDS! Everyone else knew different...
Shortly after meeting, we found out we were both going to be attending Bible College together, and soon after that our class took a short mission-like trip to Vancouver & Seattle. Coming back into the country, he had issues at the border trying to get back into Canada and was told he had 7 days to grab his stuff and get out! At this point we still "didn't have feeling for eachother". Untill he left the first time, that's when we realized what we did have feelings for eachotherand when he tried to come back into the country for a second time, he failed at the border again. We had 10 days together and he was kicked out of the country for6 months!
After spending 4 of those months apart in different countries due to all the immigration issues, and me still finishing up my semester, I finally was able to make a trip down to Oregon to visit my then boyfriend and his family at Christmas time. (So up until this point, we basically phone dated and had only spent a total of 10 days as "A couple"!)
So on Christmas day, he gives me this box and in the bottom is this cute little ring with this itty bitty diamond and he says "I am so sorry, but this was all I could afford and I wanted it to be a real diamond because you deserve the best!" Of course I was estatic even though it was super tiny. But it wasn't so much as a proposal but a promise ring of things to come. (He totally had me fooled)
So on New Years day, he wanted to take me to tour the Oregon Gardens before I had to jump on a plane a leave him again only 5 days later...
Of course, it was the coldest, crappiest Oregon weather that day, lol.As we were walking through the gardens, taking pictures I seen this tree that I wanted to go take a picture of and I said, "Hey, lets go this way!" He instead, pointed me in a different direction and said, "There's is something up here I really want you to see." As I approached the hill, at the top was this bird cage/arch/gazebo type thing, and underneath was a picnic blanket, and basket! Talk about shocked. As I got underneath, he got down on one knee and poured his heart out to me. (I cannot remember for the life of me what he said, I was still in shock because only a few days earlier he had me convinced that he couldn't afford a thing!)
Well of course I said yes, and we had this cute little picnic lunch that his mom had made and snuck in for us, with some champagne and candles! And like I said, on the COLDEST RAINIEST day of the year

Jacob took me out to dinner at a nice dinning place by the river on our 1yr together anniversary, During dinner a horse carriage went by and I was all excited saying 'oh Jacob look at that and he was like we are going on that and he pointed to a guy waiting with the horse and carriage and I was like no we arent you swear!' I didnt belive him until he got up from the table and went and told the guy we would be out soon, So we went for a 1 hour ride over the brige and by the warehouse district and when we were at a stoplight I think on Hennipen Ave he got on one knee and said Kerri Lynn M. will you marry me? I said Yes of course and then to add more he took me to a Hotel with a Jacuzzi tub and fireplace in the bedroom. He had already been in the room so there wasa dozen roses on the table and he lit candles around the tub when we got there!
