Cannabis and breastfeeding

Just an FYI.

I talked to a doctor today and mentioned that the Effexor that I take has dramatically lowered my sex drive, and that the only thing that counters that is cannabis.

This doctor advised that I continue using cannabis to enhance my sex drive, even though I am still breastfeeding.

So, there ARE pro-cannabis/motherhood doctors out there... and while I'm sure there are those who will automatically jump to labeling him a quack, the medical licensing board obviously doesn't, heh.

No, you can't get a federal exemption for low sex drive.

Aside from that, yes, that's what he advocates.

yea i noticed that weed makes my sex drive more on the up side too...hmmm now i wonder if thats why he always wants to smoke at night before we go lay down...haha!

And to the OP I like your "different" views usually everyone freaks out on here when someone talks about pot.. its like calm down people no ones gonna go on a killing spree after smoking.. I am surprised to hear that a doctor would suggest it, well a motherhood doctor anyways. What do YOU think about his suggestion if you dont mind me asking? Theres a guy that comes into the bar that I work at and his doctor has him smoke to regulate his blood pressure or something along those lines.. dont know if its truth but thats what he tells me.

Well I told him that's what I had been using and he said keep on doing it.

He can't "officially" tell me, of course, 'cause it's illegal and all, but he's a good doctor who actually cares about his patients instead of just pushing pills at them.

I haven't posted here in a while, heh, but I know full well about the draconian views of cannabis around here. And the people here know full well MY views about cannabis, hehe.

Cannabis has a lot of medicinal properties and uses, but most doctors can only recommend it "off the record" because it's illegal. If it was legalized, you'd see a LOT of doctors openly writing prescriptions.

That and Colin is a huge handful these days. He's mastered crawling and pulling up, now he's working on cruising around. I'm gonna lose all my excess weight just chasing around after him, lol.
