How many were told the wrong gender??

I meant to ask this awhile ago, but I forgot. Has anyone been told the wrong gender? What were you told and what did you have? Were you freaking out? lol. I was told I was having a girl and I gave birth to a boy. I had everything for a girl, the nursery was all set up, and I was like oh crap I don't have anything for a boy! But my family went and got the basics while I was in the hospital. I also only had a girl name picked out so I was freaking out about a name! I wasn't upset at all that he was a boy I was just very shocked and felt unprepared. I also feel bad I was saying "she" the whole time and my shower was all pink and girly, but what can ya do it's not my fault lol. Anyone else? I don't hear of it happening very often.

Yes. I was told I was having a girl and ended up having a boy!

how many ultrasounds did you girls have?

(i just had my 3D one, and i saw her girl parts in 3D .. so hopefully that's right!)

My sister was told she was having a girl, when she had a boy. He came home to a purple nursery and I don't think he looked like a Daisy. haha

The doc told my mom I was twin boys....bwahaha.

But no, the u/s have been right all 3 times for me.

my parents were told they were a having a boy and well im def not a boy. they said it was the cord not a peewee lol i had soo boy things my parents were def confused when i came out lol

I only had one ultrasound but it was right around 20 weeks so I thought well this is the time you're supposed to go so it must be right plus the tech showed us the 3 lines. I saw a girl when I went shopping after who was also at the doctors when I was and she was having a boy so I was like well they def saw boy parts for her so i'm sure i'm having a girl then. lol.

Yeah I had a purple nursery as well and Ava hanging on the wall lol. I eventually re-painted to tan I wasn't so much worried about the room since he would be staying in our room but it still bugged me. Thankfully a lot of my family went out and got us boy stuff..I was so thankful for that since I was in the hospital and I used all my gift cards for more boy stuff when I got out.

I kept all of the clothes and blankets I had the tags and everything ripped off and they were washed and hanging in the closet. The only things we exchanged were the bouncer, pack n play, and the stroller basically the big stuff everything else I still have in storage so basically we had to buy double lol.

well that's true.. there always could bea girl later on..

my aunt had the same thing happen to her.. got told she was having a girl.. and on April 1st had her son!

It was the craziest day ever lol. The nurse saying "It's a boy!!" and the look on everyone's face like huh??? She said she wishes she had a camera lol.

yeah... i would cry if that happen to me!!
i just wanted a girl soo bad, and now that i've been told twice, i think i would be a little disapointed

I was really excited to have a girl too, but I wasn't upset at all he was healthy and beautiful. My mom said she seen his boy parts before they yelled it but she thought she was seeing things lol, but she didn't wanna say anything because she thought I would be disappointed, but thankfully I wasn't. I just felt terrible here I am with tons of girl stuff holding a little boy that didn't have a thing at the moment and no name. But everything worked out!
