Watching the Birth

How many of you ladies will be watching the birth of your child? My hospital ask if you would like a mirror.

Hmm I dont think I will be lol. I dont know why but I dont want to see the gross parts, feeling it is too much for me! lol Are you going to watch?

No, it's sad but I think it looks gross.
I saw my younger sister give birth and it looks like your vajaja is being turned inside out...to me. She did not have any bleeding, but is still looked...weird.

I didnt watch my first, and I dont think I will watch this one.
My husband watched, he said watching me get the epi was worst. idk

didn't watch the first and i'm not planning on watching this one. i feel the same way as ya'll, a little to gross for me.

I think if a mirror is offered to me I will accept it, although I don't know how much I'll actually look into it. My college roommate told me she didn't think she wanted one with her daughter, but was glad they put it up anyways because she said when the pushing really became difficult, just peeking into the mirror for a split second gave her the motivation to keep going. Sooooo I think that might be my approach, but I don't know if a mirror is even offered...we shall wait and see!

I didn't watch with my daughter and have no plans to do so this time. Feeling it was enough. They did ask me if I wanted a mirror and I yelled at them to forget to stupid mirror and just get that thing out of me! Lol...I think they hear that alot because they were just like, ok...whatever. And they went right about their merry way. I honestly can't wait to do it again. I had a great first time birth experience.

My husband watched with my first and I think he just looked out of curiosity lol, but he said it looked gross to him, but I was bleeding a lot! I think I will be too busy thinking about giving the birth then to watch it, plus God made our bodies where our heads cant see it for some reason lol.

OMG...I love that last part. How have you been feeling Christy? Are you able to avoid a bit of the drama here lately?

I watched both my niece and nephew be born I thought it was the COOLEST thing ever... but I love stuff like the... I like those doctor shows and operations and stuff....

However...
watching it happen to me, is not something I think I want to see... I don't think I want to know what it looks like, because I think it might make me feel that pain just that much more... I dunno I could try it, but I dunno...

I am probably going to have my father, mother, sister, and bf all in there with me, with my father and probably my bf hanging out where they wont see much so if I set up a mirror... the would probably have a view that they don't want.... especialy my father... lol

I had mine recorded!!!!!!!!!! (That will haunt me in the long run..hehe) And Ive watched it about 3, 4 times in 5 yrs. Yeah, it was gross and I was like...wow, I couldnt believe what it looked like. At the time, i thought i did good with pushing and breathing....but then I heard the me on the video. Ha! I yelled at the doc. She was like, PUSH. and i was like, I am pushing!!!   And shes like, no, your talking. No i wasnt.   But its a constant reminder of what Im getting ready to go through again! It still makes me cover my mouth and say..oh wow.
