As some of you ladies know Kadin has had problems with farting out diarrhea for the past month or so. His diarrhea is mucuosy and it's gotten so bad that he has blisters around is precious whole. I took him to the doc 2 weeks ago and she diagnosed it as cow milk protein allergies so she switched our formula to a hypoallergenic one and he's been on that one and it's no help. He was still farting out diarrhea so I couldn't take this anymore so I went back to the doctors today and told her that I want a full exam done on my son! Blood work or whatever it takes to figure out what's wrong with him. So she took a sample of his feces and sent it too the lab. She also gave me 2 cups to take home to get some more samples but I don't know the results yet but she said he might have an infection or a virus going on. It breaks my heart to see him hurt and I can't do anything to ease the pain except my love. I'm getting all teary writing this it's just been very stressful. So please keep Kadin in your prayers and hope that nothing he doesn't have an infection or something major inside his tummy. I'm scared ladies...

Aaaw poor little guy I dont think it's an infection, otherwise he would have a fever and be sick and not seem happy at all. Im sure it's just a little allergy that you have to figure out. I know 1 thing tho, mucus in the stools is a sign of bowel trouble (I have irritable bowel syndrome and thats what happens to me) so he might just be one of the unlucky ones who has to go through this. Just keep putting zinc on his little bum and I hope things get better for both of you!!

Awww...I'm sorry, poor Kadin! Have you tried switching diapers!? Sounds silly...but, some kids are allergic to Pampers! My step-son could only use Huggies cause Pampers would make his butt break out in a SERIOUSLY bad rash and sometimes the sores would bleed!
My neighbors son had the same problem...but, again...it didn't start till 4-5 months!
Just a thought! I hope your little man gets better soon!

Kadin will be in my prayers. My baby has had diarreah for almost 2 weeks now since I changed his brand of formula because they no longer carried the one I was using. Just make sure you give your son pedialyte so he doesn't get dehydrated, thats what my pedi. told me, my son loves that stuff I call it his baby kool-aid. I also put butt paste along his butt crack everytime he poo's to help keep down the irritation. I hope everything turns out to be nothing at all, good luck.

Oh no! I'm sooo sorry.
That must be so stressful. Anytime anything is wrong or our babies are in any kind of discomfort the stress we feel as mothers is intense.
So you guys are definitely in my thoughts!
Please keep us updated.
