Call your health insurance to see if they cover it, mine insurance covers breast pump. so I dont have to pay for it. it doesnt hurt to call and ask to see if you can save some money.

I think they are good if you are going to bottle feed you're baby...but if you plan on breastfeeding exclusivly, they diapers really dont smell that bad, so they wont really stink up the house

I think they are good, only because at first its hard to take the baby into a place like a sit down resturant without the infant seat, otherwise I would say do the full size baby seat and stroller separate but sometimes you really need the infant seat as a carrier

it really depends on preferance, if you arent going to use it for all its purposes they are often a lot more expensive (remember they are only the headboard and footboard for a full size bed, you will still need to buy a matress and box springs) a lot of people dont want to get a child a full size bed anyway they perfer a twin. Remember though, a crib is a crib...just because one is 500 dollars and one is 100 dollars doesnt mean its any better, all cribs are subject to a required safety standard therefore there is no such thing as a "Cheap unsafe crib" I would perfer to save my money and spend it on a nice safe britax car seat!

i have a diaper champ that uses the regular trash bags and holds about 40 diapers - it doesnt leave a smell in her room and is VERY handy- much better than stinking up my kitchen trash can!!! It has NOTHING to do with being lazy and I think that was very rude to say that!

how do you wheel a crib through doorways?it is too wide. and convertible carseats are rear AND forward facing and hold 5-40 pounds- thats why they are called convertible.

I have one and it was expensive but think about it- it gives them a bed for the rest of their lives you just need a mattress and boxsprings- i ordered rail that go with mine to make it into the full bed for later on. PLUS the changer comes off and makes a dresser when you turn it sideways- i think it was a great deal and even if you want to put it away for awhile and use a twin bed you will still have the full for later on.

im talking about those mats that are just for laying there not there. i have a baby einstein mat that has the criss cross bars and toys dangling off it. but they have tose boppy mats for "tummy time" and they dont have toys or anyhing its just a mat wiht a pillow and thos are pointless.

i just put our normal boppy down with a blanket. and give him a toy or two to play with. now im starting to use the boppy less for tummy time though.

I have the diaper champ and love itt just like the diaper genie but you can use any kind of bag that you want. I like the travel system because i got alot of use out of it. It was easy to go into stored since i could just unclip the seat in the car and pop him right into the stroller. And now he is too big for the seat but i still have a stroller. I also have a joggger but i cant fit that into my trunk. I got a highchair that can also turn into a booster seat for when my son can eat at the table with us. He dosent really like his playmat.

I've heard great things about the diaper champ.. it has the same trap action as the diaper genie.. but you can use regular trash bags in it.. and also as for the travel systems.. graco makes theirs to hold children up to 40lbs-50lbs.. so it should last for quite a while
