Quoting MomOf32007 (Tabitha): this might have been mentioned already....but i didn't want to read through the pages just yet cause ... [snip!] ... spend 100+ on a breast pump that i might not even be able to use. guessing that i probably should wait til i see how he nurses?
Quoting whatsername80: Hehe (: Thought it might be helpful...especially since I have a question already!! Whats everyones opinions ... [snip!] ... I've heard that they're really good from some people, and then from other people that they're a waste of time and money...
Quoting DoveloSono: How about those travel systems (stroller/car seat)...? How long does the baby actually get to sit in ... [snip!] ... actually get to sit in the car seat before she is too big? Are they actually worth the money? Should I just buy separates?
Quoting Brittany (bbsoundless): man I just read the whole thread and still have not gotten my question answered! my daughter is 8 months ... [snip!] ... if those cribs like 1 in 3, 1 in 4, 1 in 5 where cribs can change into a bed are good investment? should I get one of those?
Quoting MSMOMMY85: GENE BABIES R FOR LAZY PEOPLE OTHER THAN THAT A WASTE OF MONEY AND TIME I HAD ONE AND NEVER USED ITi have a diaper champ that uses the regular trash bags and holds about 40 diapers - it doesnt leave a smell in her room and is VERY handy- much better than stinking up my kitchen trash can!!! It has NOTHING to do with being lazy and I think that was very rude to say that!
Quoting Cowgirl47429: Things not to get: Carseat stroller combo ----- Use a reg stroller, they are usually lighter and easier ... [snip!] ... probably well before they are old enough to be forward facing. I am sure someone can add to this but Its a little insight.how do you wheel a crib through doorways?it is too wide. and convertible carseats are rear AND forward facing and hold 5-40 pounds- thats why they are called convertible.
Quoting 2 weeks to go: ok gotcha - yea i think thoose are pointlessour little one absolutely LOVES her playmat and will lay there for at least 1/2 hr playing

PLUS the changer comes off and makes a dresser when you turn it sideways- i think it was a great deal and even if you want to put it away for awhile and use a twin bed you will still have the full for later on.

Quoting 2 weeks to go: im talking about those mats that are just for laying there not there. i have a baby einstein mat that ... [snip!] ... have tose boppy mats for "tummy time" and they dont have toys or anyhing its just a mat wiht a pillow and thos are pointless.

Quoting whatsername80: Thanks (: I think we'll probably end up with the pail then, haha, cuz I'd rather not spend ten million dollars on something that just holds a diaper..I've heard great things about the diaper champ.. it has the same trap action as the diaper genie.. but you can use regular trash bags in it.. and also as for the travel systems.. graco makes theirs to hold children up to 40lbs-50lbs.. so it should last for quite a while
