Okay, good. No offense but I kind-of thought it was a waste. I managed with hot water enough. Why do I need something that wastes more of my money?

Exactly. Thankfully I didn't spend my own money it was given to me at a babyshower. So no offense taken.

Ditto my son is 5 months and that damn warmer is still in the box in my linen closet. Thankfully I got it as a shower gift and didn't spend my money on it.

If you are nervous about SIDS I can't say enough good things about the Angel Care monitor. We have it and I don't think I would ever be able to sleep without it. It was worth every penny.

I used my wipe warmer like crazy! Kinda turned into a bad thing though.. lol When we weren't at home my son hated getting his diaper changed. haha He wanted his wipes warm.

Im on my 2nd child...i really dont think diaper genies or anything like that is necessary. If u wanna get it cool but throwing diapers in a garbage is fine and if its a stinky one i always use my left over plastic bags. to me alot of things arent necessary but if people buy them for me hey im not complaining cause i didnt buy it lol. i say

use reg wipes no warmer needed

playpins or bouncies are awesome because they truley help

a few blankets are fine if u want the baby on the floor.

it truley doesnt matter what type of bottles u get cause if a baby is hungry...they will eat

baby bath is in the middle for me...I used it sometimes but most of the time i just washed the baby by hand cause he screamed so much lol

I'd have to disagree on the bottle thing.. We had to go through 3 different types before finding the right one. He would scream bloody murder with any kind but the dr. browns.

i love ur list thank you because half the crap we are debating on is on the do not buy part esp that big ass travel system thing i dont go out like that and when i do i dont want to lug around a huge tank for a stroller. lol

I guess what I am wondering is about a booster seat vs high chair. I mean the booster seat does the same thing, just straps onto a chair and it is portable so you can take it with you to places instead of using the high chairs at the restraunts (sorry about sp). Has anyone got the booster seat vs the high chair and happy about it?

I have both. I use the high chair with the tray up until my kids are 18 mos. or so. Then, I lower the high chair and pull them up to the table (not using the tray). After 2 years old, I put them in the booster. The major thing is that the high chair is on wheels and I move it around the kitchen & dining room. It also has padding, toys, and a musicalthingy to play with. The booster seat is strapped down on a chair in the kitchen and has no toys or padding. We bought a second booster seat to leave at my mom & dads house, too. They are only 20 bucks. The high chair we have is from Fisher price & was 100. You could prolly get them used on craigslist.
