stretch mark cream

I just started using some cream, a friend told me about some mary kay visibly fit cream that is supposed to work good, so I am using that.. Any other suggestions or advice.. Oh and I asked my nurse at my last appt and she told me her best advice for reducing how many I get is not to gain to much weight and not to gain it rapidly.. My thought.. 25 pounds in 6 months IS rapid.. lol..  Is this true?

I gained 40 pounds with my first daughter. I didnt get stretchmarks untill 39 weeks....

The best thing is to drink tons of water and keep your skin moisturized. That might help but nothing is going to prevent stretchmarks

yeah 25lbs in 6 months is slightly rapid. i had gained 20lbs by 20 weeks last pregnancy. i haven't found much that has reduced the appearence of them though.

I'm not too sure, I gained over 80lbs with each of my pregnancies (went from 95lbs to 175  ) and got tons of stretchies   i just ordered Revitol, I'm hoping it works....it has good recommendations. I'll let you know once it arrives.

If you have them on another part of your body you will most likely get them. My mom got them, I got them.

As someone else said, tons of water and stay very moisturized. I used stretch mark cream twice, sometimes three timesa day starting at 4 weeks. I didn't get stretch marks until after I had him and my stomach was going down. But even then they were light pink and some had no color to it only showing if I turned a certain way.

I started using this. all my friends have recommended it. Hope it works for me. I've also heard that stretch marks can be genetic. My mom had tons of them...

is that what has been advertised on tv in some blue or green container? i saw something on tv but it was too early in the morning for me to be paying attention and i missed it.

Eh, IDK. I understand everyone is different but I do have stretch marks on my hips and a few in other places (before pregnancy) and I didn't get stretchies during pregnancy. I think it is a hope & pray on whether you get them or not

I think so, I ordered it b/c I googled best stretch mark cream and it came up on tons of sites. it is in a blue container. Trilastin also has good reviews, it's runner up to this one so I'll be trying that one next....but hopefully Revitol works and I won't have to.

I thought I was gonna be like you, I have them on my boobs, and butt. I didn't get them til like 30 weeks and it went from one faint little dot to an explosion.

Bio Oil 
I use it with my incision scars and it did miracles! I've used it now on my belly and boobs since 5 weeks and so far soo good

I've tried Bio oil for about two months....it did absolutely nothing for my stretch marks. I've heard it has remarkable reviews for scars, but terrible reviews for stretch marks. Like everything, it's worth a shot but don't get your hopes up.

does it make your clothes get all oily? I don't think i have seen it before..
