how much is my son suppose to eat?!

my son daniel is not even 2 months. he was born 7-9-07 and i was wondering how much is he suppose to eat? he eats 4ozs of emfimil lipil every 2-3 hours. he gained a total of 4lbs since birth. but most of the time he still acts like he is hungry for more.  

So feed him more .

Deannas 1 month && eating 3-4 oz. every 3-4 hours .

my dads baby ate 3oz every 3hrs at birth. some just have a bigger appetite than others. If he still acts hungry then try giving him an extra ounce. If he's hungry he'll eat.

yea i was just wondering. cause his doctor told me that im feeding him to much. she told me that at his age he should be eating 2-3 ozs. now, if i gave my son that lil amount he'll probably look at me like im crazy haha.

When baby is hungry, feed it. There is no right or wrong amount if they're gaining weight properly and are healthy.

find another dr! you can't feed a baby too much.

yea i probably will have to. the only reason i go to this doctor is because its literally right across the street haha. not to be racist or nothing cause im not but all the doctors there are female mexicans and they cant even say my sons name which is daniel and they say danielle haha.

My son is now eating 4oz every 3 hours. He just started eating that amount like yesterday.

Tilia is almost 7 weeks. She eats 4 oz every 2 1/2 to 3 hours and sometimes she gets an extra oz or so if shes still acting hungry.

If your baby is still hungry try giving him an extra oz....your Dr is crazy to tell you your feeding too much!

have you tried just giving him a paci or something? sometimes babies just have an enormous desire to suck, even when they are full.

my son wont take his pacifier if hes still hungry. he'll grab it from his mouth and throw it. haha.
