infant tylenol for 2 week old?

hes acting very fussy and been feeling warm and seems like he has a stomach ache, i dunno what to do, i read to take infant tylenol but the box says consult a dr but i dont know what else i could give him. is it safe to give a 2 week old infant tylenol?

that means hes gassy. you needs gas drops not pain reliever. and no i would consider it unsafe until the doctor says otherwise.

you should call the doctor, have you taken his temp yet?

i would try mylicon for gas... but we gave my 5 day old tylenol before. it was at the 4 line.

my Pedi told me not to give my LO tylenol before 2 months because it could mask the fever symptoms and when you take him to the ER they will send you home.
I would try the gas drops and rubbing the tummy first

Tylenol shouldn't be given to infants under the age of 3 months. Your baby might just be gassy. Gripe water works wonders for my little Maddox, oh and so does "pumping" his legs.

i had to give my son tylenol after his circ. at 5 weeks old =( but it was ordered by his pedi!

pedi told us that it is NOT ok to give it to LO under 2 months old unless it was oked by a doc....

if it is gas, try tummy time! it works out the extra toots and burps outta my LO. or laying him on ur legs on his tummy and rubbing it. or pumping his legs. even lotion on ur hands with it flat rock it from side to side on his tummy....gas drops also work wonders!

you can also try some forms of infant massage to help with gas..

took these off a website, but they can help release the gas and will sometimes also help them have a poop if the baby needs to poop:

Gently fold the baby's knees up to the tummy (as far as is comfortable), hold for 15 to 30 seconds and release. Stroke legs gently.

Gently hold both of the baby's feet and move the legs one at a time, bending at the knees as if riding a bicycle for 30 seconds. Stroke the legs gently.

Bend the baby's legs at the knees, cross the legs, and rock side to side. Stroke the legs gently.

Watch out for the baby if you are worried about fever though.. monitor closely with thermometer and call pedi. Make sure to pay close attention to the soft spots if baby has fever.. if they seem to start sinking in go to hospital right away.

my baby was throwing up so i had panic and gave my 3 week baby tylenol 5ml i had called his doc but they didn't answer when after i gave him the dose i'm a first time mom weighs 9 3/4oz that was at 12:30pm then i gave him more at 11:22pm but 1.25ml i'm very concerned about that can someone please help me
