We got two diaper bags, a shit ton of samples (nipple cream, butt cream, etc.), ice packs for taking bottles on the road...hmm...I know we got more. I can't remember everything.

I didn't get shit! Everything I got was because I took it on my own lol, like a baby shirt, some diapers, a baby blanket. The only thing they gave me was some papers......

We get the 2 diaper bags too but I got mine from the clinic. Those are from infamil and similac...the hospital just gives them if you haven't got them yet.

They get them as a promotion product, why not hand them out.

My hospital gave a care package which included a book (it was a piece of trash...all propaganda for pharmaceutical companies) a couple of diapers, a pacifier or two, and a "bringing baby home" booklet put out by Enfamil...lots of formula coupons in it and bad breastfeeding advice. My hospital suuuuuuuucked.

It's disgusting because it promotes formula feeding, no matter what is written down on any pamphlet. A mother given free formula is much more likely to use the samples and consequently screw up breastfeeding. Statistically true, and they know this. Hospitals should not be promoting the more unhealthy of two choices.

Depends if he gets his leave approved for around my dute date. Who knows though, he could come home and miss the birth. I'm not too worried about that though, since its totally out of our control.

He's EXCITED!!!!!!!!!! I'm not though. I was pissed. I didnt want it. I still dont really want it. This was definitely not part of my master plan.

They aren't from the hospital they are given to the hospital to give to the patients.... I don't use the formula....But I like everything else that comes in it.

I think if someone if pro BF then matter how much formula they get, they will still choose to BF.. No matter what.
Obviously if someone gets BF because they were given some free formula then they really didnt care to BF in the first place.

But it's still sitting in my cabinet. We'll never use it though lol. I should give it away now that I think about it.
