Natural Labor vs Being Induced

This is for those mamas that have had both natural labor and been induced.

Was there a big difference to you? Which did you like best? Ive heard that being induced makes the contractions worse...

Going into labor on my own was so much easier than the induction I had with my second. Labor was...everything was worse with that the second time. The recvoery was easier though becuase I didn't hav an episiotomy like with my first

Did you have your Adrianna with natural labor?

Nope, I had to be induced 10 days late

I was induced early, I haven't had natural labor and I don't want to I plan to be induced again, although the contractions were horrific to me any other way.

What did they have to induce you for? If I go over again, I wanna research more about not being induced..And going way over...

yes. i also had stadol with my second.they tried to induce using pitocin. it wasnt working. i was already dilated to a 3-4 when i came in. no change in almost 5.5 hours. they stopped the pit andbroke my water. by the time the doctor walked out of the room i was starting to have what i called piggyback contractions one after the other. they were off the chart. it was like going 0 to 60 in a second. it was going to be almost an hour for an epidural and they offered the drugs.stadol knocked me out. i was sleeping between pushes. they ended up turning the epidural off to try and wake me up a little. the nurse gave me a second shot of the stadol too shortly before i was a 10. i was so out of it i couldnt even protest it. i thought i told the husband to tell her but i guess not. i also didnt realize i was talking out loud about things i was dreaming.

My son was sitting on a siatic (sp?) nerve and it was very painful. He was a big baby and I thought I was having back labor but it wasn't it was so bad I couldn't even sleep or move. I don't think there's a problem if you go over your due date, maybe your belly would just run out of room

My cousin was induced the first time with her daughter (low fluids) & just had her son December 1st all-natural (no drugs or anything). She said it was way easier with her son, & the recovery was way better too.

Of course, you know I'm all about the natural lol!

Wow, that doesn't sound like a very good experience  

all that being said i want to try for completely natural the next baby. i could feel most of the actual birth part the ring of fire and all that. the epi wasnt very effective to begin with with levi.
