yeaa my drs office must be behind with there methods because last year when i went to get on BC there was a chance that i could have been pregnant and i had to ask them to do a PT but they did it with my urine...

maybe they did a pap for well woman check up, and discovered she was?
i dunno, thats werid to me also, to check and see if she was pregnant

I'm 16, and I was scared as hell to tell my mom I was pregnant. She actually took it a lot better then I thought she would. It's funny because parents always tell you how mad they would be, and they tell you things to scare you into not getting pregnant, but when you actually get pregnant, it's different. My mom was talking to me about pregnancy, and I started crying and she asked me if I was pregnant and I told her yes. She gave me a hug and said we'd take it day by day. My boyfriends mom was way more pissed when I told her, and so was his dad. After you tell them though, it feels so good to have it out in the open. My best advice is, even though it's scary, just come out and tell them, and tell them sooner then later.

I've never had a pap while pregnant. Orrrr, maybe they gave her a pelvic exam. She's young, so maybe she's just never had an actual pap.

im married and i was scared shitless it was sooo scary all i did was buy her this damn slurpee she wanted for like 2 weeks and i gave her the positve pregnancy test and sat down next to her and she hugged me and started cryin me and my mom are like best friends thats prob the only reason it was soooo easy

I just pee'd on the stick, freaked out..told my fiance and then ran to my moms room(while she was sleeping) and woke her up..and just told her I was pregnant...she just looked at me funny...and then the next day we talked about it and she's better now..and she's excited now

Im 16 years old, I conceived when I was 15, not knowing it. I went with my cousin to get a pregnancy test, since I took one before, I was sure it would say Negative just like the rest. WRONG!!! It said positive, I was shocked. My boyfriend called while we were walking around Walmart. I told him & he was shocked, but happy. So i went home & asked my mom if she could make me an appointment with Karen (which is a midwife & she gives out birth control]. She said yeah, not thinking anything about pregnancy. I said mom, i took a test & it was positive are you mad. Of course, im her baby girl she was shocked but HAPPY! So she told my dad because she knew i wasnt gonna. He was devious. Oh well. He still doesnt tlk about the subject. By the way ladies i found out when i was 3 weeks, im now 16 weeks & 1 day pregnant. My advise would be JUST TELL THEM, cause they probably already know (:

i told my boyfriend i thought i was cuz my breast were very tender..then i missed my period so i told a friend and she gave me a test i took it the nxt morning told one of my brothers then told my boyfriend...he was relle upset..knownin he was upset i didnt no how to tell my mom so i called my grandmother and made her come up the school and i talked to her n the hall and she said that we needed to tell my mom asap..so we were gonna tell her and my dad on that sunday..but where im still in school my mom takes me fone during the week at 10..(my parents are relle strick and dont let me do anything)and i gues when she took it on a thursday a day later after i found out i was pregnant and the same day i told my grandmother there was a voicemail on my fone and it was a friend askin if i was pregnant...so she then came into the room and woke me up at midnight and we snuck out of my house and she took me to walmart to get some tst and i ended up taken 3 and they were positive..so in all i took 7 test and all were postive..she was upset but now shes more excited than i am about this baby comin...so my advice is no matter how scared u r to tell ur parents there gonna b there no matter wat for u and that baby.

hmm, well, I told my Mom when I thought I was pregnant and she ended up telling my Dad for me.. they were both supportive though, I wasn't really scared to tell them, I guess I just KNEW they wouldn't kill me.

and i didnt have to tell my mom
my period was always on time. never late
and then she asked me why i wasnt using tampons.
and i guess it clicked. she cried and asked me what i was going to do
im a senior in high school for the 09-10 year.
and im finishing school. i dont have a dad. he died. and my sister just had a baby
in Feb. My mom had a baby in Nov 07. WOW i know its crazy(:

my OB never did that, when i get back on birth control [the pap and blood work] but every doctor is different.
