I didn't even have to tell my parents really. I took a test and got a very very faint positive, so took it to work and shoved it in my mothers face (I used to work at the same place as my mother) and said "Does this have two lines or is it just me?". She deffinately seen two lines too, turns out I was around 3 weeks along.

i'm 16 and me and my boyfriend we soooo scared at our parents reactions but we sat down thought it through and texted our mums at the same time, we wrote a long paragraph but mums are smart they know everything and our mums guessed straight away.
i know texting is the best way to tell your mum but we didn't know how they would react but the best thing to do is just tell them.  

I am 26 years old (25 when mom was told)..I got up to go to the restroom and my fiance told my mom that I took an at home test and it was positive..My dad was not at his home at that time..about a month later he came to stay with us for a few days (for work) and I handed him the pregnancy test..he kept asking me what it was so I told him to look at it really really good..after about a minute he started smiling looked up with tears in his eyes and said "My baby girl you're pregnant"..Best feeling in the world!

Mine went horrible , im 18
I had found out with my best friend, i had called my boyfriend and told him and he freaked out , saying it wasn't his , sooo he had TEXT my parents and said i was pregnant and it's not his , i knew the second my mom called me that she was dissapointed and my dad , i couldnt bare to even look him in the eyes from now on , i grew up in a very old fashioned family where you dont have sex until marrige or n e thing, now im living in a diffrent city and rarely talk to my parents i mean im only 11 weeeks and there is still plenty of time for them to come around. soo just hoping for the best , other then that me and my boyfriend have worked things out and im super stocked to have a baby !  

Well my period was 2 days late so I took the test. My mom knew it was a possibility because my period was late and I was freaking out. It came out positive. I threw the test at my SO and then called my mom crying. She wasn't necessarily mad, just kinda disappointed I guess. The best person I told though were my grandparents. I said, "I'm pregnant." My grandpa started freaking out asking why. I told him, "I just figured you needed another baby around because my baby cousin was about to be four."

I found out i was pregnant the day after Christmas 2011. I took an at home test then the next day went to the Health Department to know 100% BD obviously knew first, after i took the at home test, then i told my best friend later that day when i went over there, she was happy for me, she has a daughter, BD told his mom next, he just text her and said don't tell no1 but Kayla's pregnant, and all she said was Okay, he's 22 and has a daughter already so not a big shock, i was TERRIFIED to tell my dad! TERRIFIED I TELL YOU! lol. I told his GF first so that i'd have someone to "protect" me when i told him, no telling how daddy's gonna react bout his youngest daughter getting preggers first. We told them the day i went to the clinic and found out, the sooner the better, i had already called my health insurance company to make sure prenatal care for dependent daughter was covered, it is, personally i wanted to wait till after his birthday on January 1. Really didn't feel like ruining his birthday. He had kinda expected i guess, he wasn't stupid when i graduated i lived with my boyfriend for 4 months before we broke up then was living with BD for a month when we found out i was preggers, he wasn't supportin me, i had a job and BD had a job and we lived on our own, so he couldn't really say anything about it, he already knew when he got home from work and i was balling so bad i couldn't even talk BD had to tell him, then he just came and gave me a kiss on the forehead and laughed at me for being so scared and upset, not the reaction i was expecting, he's been very supportive. He's thrilled about having a grandson since he got 2 girls and no boys lol. It's a whole lot easier once you tell them, btw i was 18, still am 18 for the next 8 and a half days lol.

After my first ultrasound me n my hubbs bought a frame n put baby stickers all over it diapers onesies etc and bought a pink bib that said i love my grandma and a blue bib that said i love my grandpa we put them next to the frame in a box n wrapped it. We went over their house for dinner and brought the gift they had no idea and when they opened it n saw the bibs w the u/s pic they just cried and said really really? n were soooo excited they called everyone n hung up the picture right away! It was deff an amazing moment that well always share!

i just turned 19 when i found out i was pregnate with my son which is 3 years old now turning 4.... i was with my boyfriend of one year b4 i found out i was pregnate.. well i told my mom that my period did come and i was very aware of when my period came.. i made an appointment and took a home pregnancy test.. i told her after the blood test saying i was pregnate and he was sooooo angry my dad was too. but they love my son he is everything to them.. im 23 and having another baby but im not with that guy no more we r getting a divorce....im with a good guy n taking it steady

i lived with a girl who was given power of attorney over me so i could move to utah to be closer to my dad, and we never got along well. she came in one day freaking out over my grades so i handed her the box with my positive test in it and she knew what i meant. she ran to her room and cried but handled it well for a while. then she started treating me badly, i was four months pregnant with every sickness in the book like seizures and losing wieght, yet for some reason i was still catering to her. she would literally lay on the couch while i cooked, cleaned the entire house, and raised her three kids, including changing butts and getting them ready for school. i was sick of it but i kept my mouth shut till she came home from the doctors one day, she just found out she was five weeks pregnant. two pregnant girls who already hate eachother under one roof... not safe. anyways, the very exact day she found out she was pregnant she tried pulling the "i'm sick" card when before she found out she appeared to be just fine. i was not going to take that from her. after so long of babying her and working through all my ailments, i finally lost it. this woman has three kids she pays absolutely no attention too, with two different dads, and is dating a guy who lives in another state who also has three kids... that guy is the one who's baby she's pregnant with now. add them all up and that makes seven kids who will have a deadbeat mother. so i told her that she is unfit to be a mother and she kicked me out. so i packed up my blanket, and my phone charger, and my boyfriend and i walked five miles to another town to a new place for me to stay. she didnt call to see if i was alive or had a roof over my head. she didnt care. to her i was nothing but a paycheck and a babysitter. i just hope her kids will be taken care of. now im in a place where they dont make me clean all day with chemicals like bleach, where i can focus on finishing school and taking care of my baby. so even if your "parent" doesnt like it, there are other places to go. look into a guardian ad litem. they will make decisions for you based on what YOU think would be best for you/

i told my parents right away because even if they'll be mad they will still be there for you and be proud that you told them insted of keeping it a secret sometimes parents first reacions arnt that great but they get over there anger and start to rilize that its a crushle time for you and you need them

Im 18 and i found out when i missed my period at 4 weeks as usual. i told my boyfriend right away and we set up a doctors appointment and got me some health insurance. that was the easy part... b/c my mom told me if i ever got pregnant she would kick me out. and i believed her b/c she always tells me to "get out of her house" so i was going to wait intell i was 14 weeks. but one day when i was at work i asked my mom if she could plug my phone in. ( we work together) and she looked at my txts between me and my bf and found out. right before she walked out the door she said " if ur really pregnant like what ur txts to joey say then you need to get the ***** out of my house by tomorrow". so i told my bf and i went to his house for the night. and i was still in school so he asked her if i could finish school and then leave and she said yes. she hasnt said a word about it scene...
