? about my 3 month old...

I started my son on rice cereal about a week and a half ago and he is doing real good with it. He already knows that when I put him in his high chair it means he is getting fed. He makes the cutest little "excited" coo. Anyway, I was reading the box the other day and it said that when he starts on cereal, I can also start him on level 1 vegetables and fruits. I know you are suppose to introduce one thing at a time and give it a week before you introduce something else new, but my question is what do you start with fruits or veggies?

I'd hold off on the fruits and veggies for a little while yet since they usually say to wait until baby's 4-6 months before starting solids.

I started both on stage 1 around 3.5 months, my doc said they were ready. We started on Veggies per his advice, he said they fruit is sweet so the baby will prefer it to veggies, so get them hooked on them first

I bet that book follows the recommendation of many doctors too not introduce solids until 6 months. And yes, veggies first before fruit.

You have to wait lik 3days to a week before you introduce them to new stuff to make sure there not allergic. i.e carrots 3 days, then squash 3days, etc.
