Once you finish collge no one really looks a highschool scores anymore.
I can get my GED go to community college for a year and transfer to Harvard if my college scores are high enough and score high on the ACT.

i didnt think so.
my mom gets all her info from her co-workers since she doesnt know that much about it, and they've got stuck in her head to that a GED is horrible and that it will get you no where.

No, I just recomend starting at community college to get ajusted.
But if you apply to a college without the community school first, they are going to depend on the GED scores.

nothing is bad about a GED at all. It just looks better on a resume. But look at it this way, if you're going to go to college, then dont worry about it. Getting a job wont be a problem once you're done with college. If not, many places still hire with GED's. And its perfectly fine to have one. Diplomas just look better on your resume. If you're having a hard time with school, and a GED seems like the best option for you, then go for it! Finishing with a GED is better then not finishing at all.

Does anyone think that receiving a GED may automatically set you in a negative stereotype that because you didn't receive your high school diploma you're a criminal or not an efficient worker. I mean high school isn't that bad there are other alternatives but even if you get into a great college or university what happens after. Who's to say the person who interviews you might reject your application because you didn't complete high school. Their not called stereotypes for no reason and I think that's why people shy away from GED's, nothings wrong with it, it's other peoples perspectives of it. I've also been thinking about getting my GED and I'm a Junior in high school, the more people reject to the idea the more worry I get...

Im working towards my ged right now and i dont see a damn thing wrong with it. It was the best thing for me.
