I moved from Philly to Gloucester County, NJ and it was like moving to a different planet. Jersey is different everywhere you go, especially if you visit the coast. People who actually live out there can sometimes be extremely rural...the people who VISIT the coast aren't an accurate reflection of how the state is.


Although, Jersey as a whole and how it's policed by the cops is smurfing BULLSmurf. I've never been pulled over so many times in my life. Cops in Philly couldn't care less if you ran that stop sign, they're busy stopping more important crime. But god forbid you even entertain the notion of not putting your turn signal on at the correct footage before you make your turn in Jersey. They call the effing cavalry on your ass.

NJ is by far the most strict state I have ever come across. And don't forget JUG HANDLES !!! definitely my favorite ;)

I'm from Kennesaw/Marietta originally, but living in North Fulton now-near Roswell/Cumming. Half of my family lives where Deliverance was filmed, and my husband was from the Savannah area. I'm one of the few original JOE-JANS left.

According to an article online, the bartender cut him off and security had warned him if he acted up anymore that night, he was going to be thrown out. Then she ordered and paid for a drink, and when it was put on the bar, he picked it up and slammed it. So she yelled at him for taking her drink, and he did that. What a ridiculous piece of smurf.

I'm sorry.   That's terrible.

I'm sure it's everywhere you go, but I said down south in Texas because that's the only place I've been in the south. I don't think that all human beings are rude, it was just my family's friends.
I was young at the time, so I thought that the whole world hated me.

I have an accent, I'm from Jersey, but I'm not Italian.
I'm not tan, I'm not a hoe, and I carry myself better. So many people are surprised that I am from Jersey.
I must be a major smurf.  

I do agree that no women should be hit, and vice versa.
