I have a 4 year old and a 2 year old. Some of our faves...
coloring
finger painting
play dough
baking
gardening (little areas, but they like to use their watering cans and watch the results, plus who doesn't like putting their hand in the dirt to plant!)
when we go for walks I'll let them run ahead and play "stop/go" or "red light/green light"
swinging
singing/dancing
reading...this is probably their favorite, but I can only handle in for 2-3 books at a sitting!
Enjoy your toddler...it's such a great time!

We like to paint, read books, build with blocks, plant seeds, walk the track at the park, feed the ducks and birds, dance and sing, play doh and coloring. There is so much we do I do not think I can think of them all.

I have a 2 year old daughter and a 4 year old son. They love to help take things off the shelf and put them in the cart at the grocery store and they like to help with cooking. My son is in pre-k and his room has a "home center" with a kitchen, some shleves and what not. Now my son and daughter both love it! For her birthday we got our daughter a grocery cart and it came with a few grocery items, but they were destroyed pretty quickly. In the home center at pre-k they have empty containers! I find that brilliant and can't believe I didn't think of it on my own!
So, for the past two weeks I've been keeping a few things out of the recycling, cereal boxes, juice containers, laundry detergent bottle, etc. I've washed them out and let them dry. Today I took about 15 mintues, if that, and glued the caps on (don't need those lost all over the house) and used clear packing tape to take the tops of the boxes to keep them sturdy. Tomorrow I'm planning on moving things around on the bookshelf in our daughter's room so they can have a home and the kids can play away! And, don't tell anyone, but Santa is going to bring the kitchen set so they have even more to play with!
Anyway, this was cheap and easy...really all it cost me was a bottle of glue...I had everything else! YEAH!!!!

i have a two year old son and he is my only. he loves to dance to all types of music and color. and he loves to play with his cars and fake cell phones. ( he loves to talk) but his favorite activity would have to be to go out side and ride his bike and power wheels. he loves the out doors and this winter is gonna be fun for him. it will be his first time out in the snow.

My little boy (2.5years) loves going for a walk in the woods and collecting feathers, conkers, leaves, twigs etc in a bag and then taking them home to make pictures with them.
He loves painting, drawing, dancing, "Washing up" (haha make sure you redo everything!!) and helping me walk the dog.

Sarah loves our walk around the neighborhood with the dog. Sometimes in the stroller some times she walks... it's long and I know she couldn't walk it all by herself... she's only 2. I also love building stuff with her wooden blocks with her... she's sooo creative. She loves to sing and dance... but she's at that age or stage that when I start to do it she throws a fit! lol Can't wait till I can do it with her!!

My favorite activity with my toddler? Wow, thats a tough one. There is alot to choose from. In the summer we like to go for walks, or swim, or play with the dog. In the winter we like to play catch, or play ballerina [we leap and twirl across the livingroom, its quite a sight.] But most of all we LOOOVE to play dress up. She is obsessed with dresses and high heels and purses. She is gonna be such a girly girl.
