my lil guy is almost 2. mostly we go for walks (he loves to see birds, puppies and cats) and the park (addicted to the slide cuz he can do it himself) and at home, if it has wheels, he plays with it. lol

I can't pick a favorite. My son loves to be active and so do I! We go running (he's in a stroller) and we go to the park/swimming on an almost daily basis. I love meal time, because I try to mix it up always! Cuddling before bed is probably the best of them all, though... nothing else like unconditional love! =D

I love going to the duck pond with my little one! He loves feeding all the ducks there and gets a kick out of it. At the same it's relaxing for me!

Right now all my son really wants to do is go outside he just LOVES it. So, I let him. I try to do other things with him (he is 19 months) like color and stuff but he just wants to run around in the yard or swim. He throws a big fit if anyone goes outside with out him. It's insane. I guess I could probably figure out some more out door activities besides running and playing ball and swimming!

My son needs constant activity, so I’m always trying out new things with him.
We like to go out places, like Chuck E Cheese, Children’s Museum (Please Touch Museum in Philly) We go to the Zoo about three times a month…I let him run around wherever he wants so he burns off some energy. We go to the local library, read books and play with the toys.
At home, we read, play trains, color (he’s getting an easel for his birthday, so we’ll start painting then!) he’s not too much into chalk. We go for walks a lot, in his wagon, or his blue car…or we walk the dog to the local park.

My daughters almost 3 and ever since she was a baby I have been doing flashcards with her. Everytime I do color, number, and shape flashcards with her she still goes crazy after all this time. She loves them. She also loves when I read books to her and dancing.

Quoting ♥ GK Weiners:“ What's your favorite activity to do with your toddler? Any new or fun ideas you've read about and want to share? Post it all here

My baby wants to do something all the day,he never stops! I'm so tired to play with him all day so i prefer reading books with pictures he likes!

Quoting Brittanyxoxo:“ Me and my boys love to play with playdough, make cookies or anything that they can stir. They even love to help me unload the dishwasher, I let them hand me the silverware.”

my son likes to help unload the dishwasher too...he gets a big grin on his face. Reading and doing educational stuff we do every day. We also like playing trucks and cars together, dancing, sandbox, coloring or painting. I want to do stain glass painting with him I found how to do it with wax paper and glue it should be fun. you tint your glue with food color and paint it onto wax paper then stick another piece of wax paper on top of it and you have a pretty picture to hang in the window.

Here is the list of favorites of my niece. Fingerpaints , playdough, moon sand (have to really careful that she doesn't put it in mouth/eyes, etc)
rolling a ball to each other- then rolling it into a box on it's side (it's big enough for her to aim a little and get it in!)
going to the library to pick out books (my 2 yr old will not sit still for story time!),
watering the flowers & refilling the bird feeder outside
sidewalk chalk, hop scotch (mostly just hopping in the squares I've drawn & numbered)
kicking a soccer ball around (she just runs behind it and keeps it going, falling on it from time to time)
petting-feeding-annoying the dog,
looking at the fish for sale at the pet store (a good treat on an errands day, esp if it's next door to somewhere I need to go anyway!)

my son like the slide too but he always wants me to go with him...i am really careful about keeping his hands and feet tucked in..i feel like a worker at an amusement park hahaha...and then he signs please and says mama go-go. he is able to walk up the ladder by himself now and he is so proud. it is a lot of fun and good exercise for us both.

My daughter will be 2 in October and she looooves to color. She's a pretty good little artist too. We also like playing hide-and- go seek with her. She'll stand in a corner as we count to 10 and we'll hide her favorite little giraffe stuffed animal. When we're done counting she'll turn around and start looking for it. Balls. She loves kicking, throwing, bouncing them pretty much any where, any time. She also enjoys "helping" me vacuum by pushing her corn popper along with me and taking the spoons out of the dishwasher and (try) putting them into the drawer. Having a (almost) 2 year old is honestly the most fun part of motherhood I've experienced so far.

that is cute with the giraffe.
o ethan likes to help vacuum too...he has one of the playskool toy vacuums and he has to vacuum everywhere i have. sometimes it takes a long time, but i know he is safe and not going to get tripped on accident or hanging on my legs like he use to.
