*NEW* track your pregnancy development on google search page

Hello all expecting parents!

Baby-Gaga has just released a small feature that lets you include your pregnancy ticker and weekly development information on your Google search page, so that you can keep up-to-date with your development on a daily basis. We're just trying out this feature and, if interest shows, we can develop this page to include more things.

The page is here: google.baby-gaga.com

The way it works, is when you build your pregnancy ticker at http://tickers.baby-gaga.com/pregnancy.php you will reach the code page, which has a new option to add your ticker to your Google search page.



Please let us know what you think, and what you'd also like to see added to this page. For instance, we could add support for other tickers from other sites, too.

That is just so great! I love it! I definately think you should experiment with more, perhaps yahoo? ^_^

Hmm, well I did this google ticker thing...and for some reason when it comes up on the google home page it says 30 wks....and I'm 32 wks...And no, I didn't do the ticker wrong...I even tried redoing it. I have my due date right, it says 32 wks. I hit the google button and it comes up 30 wks...so...something has gone screwy. It's still pretty neat though!

Really? I've tried it with a number of dates, and it seems to report the right ticker dates on the search page. Have you tried hitting the "refresh" button? Could you also let me know which browser you are using?

yep, I've refreshed and even redone it a couple of times. I'm using Mozilla firefox.

when I set it for homepage i clicked the box off but when i click home page all I see is a little house, I don't know what I did wrong or how to fix it.

well, I don't know why but it comes up with the correct week and day on my lap top but not on our desk top...weird...oh well. I still love it! I don't use google too much often though...so if you decide to do one for yahoo I'll love it all the more!

I already have a Google home page...is there a way to add the ticker to a previously made home page?

That's my question as well. I have a customized google homepage, can the ticker be added to that?

Ok im trying to see if i can get my ticker to work on here, so far no luck, i dont know why its not working!!

It does on my laptop, but refuses to work on our desk top...and I use Mozilla with both. So strange...I've even redone it about ten times and it just won't go...Oh well.

I have the same question. Has anyone figured it out yet?

If you have Firefox and want the baby ticker do this:
Go through the set up process.
Don't drag the little house to you home page icon. Just close that little box out.
Go to the top of your browser and click on TOOLS.
Then from the drop down list click on OPTIONS.
In the box click on the MAIN tab.
Type this as the home page: http://google.baby-gaga.com/
Next click on the PRIVACY tab.
Under Cookies check the ACCEPT COOKIES box.
In the keep until box select: THEY EXPIRE
Under Private Data make sure the two boxes are unchecked.
Click OKAY at the bottom of the options box.
This should do it.

Thanks a lot for posting that fix --- yes, the search page does use cookies, which is required so that you can modify your due-date, etc.

this site is so awesome found it in someones myspace profile my names Chrissy just found out Im pregnant a few weeks ago. Husband and I were trying for a long time to have a baby a year and 6 months it still hasn't hit me that Im pregnant. We are so very happy. This site is really cool telling u how ur baby is growing . take care all..
