not sure how to tell him :(

my 6 year old's guinea pig just died   he has had him since he was 2 years old and I have no clue how to tell him what happened when he gets home fromhis auntie's tomorrow!! Gosh I know I am gonna cry when I try to tell him too

my little SIL guinea pig died a couple of months ago, when they told me i laughed  , but only because i hated that thing & i always told them to get rid of it & it bit my daughter.

but, that must be hard   i'm sorry.

his name was Nubs lol my son freaking loved that thing, he was so sweet and even my dog liked it lol he never bit anybody before but i knew this was gonna happen soon he was 3 when we got him and that was 4 years ago.

Have you ever talked to your son about your religion? Now would be a good time to use it to your advantage. I had to tell my daughter recently about heaven( even though I am not very religious) and it made things much easier for her to take,

i was someone who helpoed out in a kindergarden class in my younger days lol and i took home the class guina pigs.. i accidently drowned one..

and when my niece was 4 i accidently left the cage to her mouse cage open and it escaped outside.. i told her the mouse decided to go to hollywood to do movies and i put a few mouse movies on.. she was fine with that answer

my husband just told my 2 year old that Nubs went to heaven and that he was gonna watch over them and my 2 year old said oh ok, still dont think he will get it but I know my 6 year old will   I am not very religious either but heaven I can talk about

Just sit him down with his favorite snack and expain to him what happens when someone we love gets old and has to go on.

No one told me when mine died. I just woke up one dasy and his cage was gone :[

What color is it? Can you find another that looks the same. LOL

maybe find one that looks like him ? and replace it when he is sleep.

or kind of tell him that like Santa needed help in the north pole and nubs went to help him     .

he doesnt believe in santa anymore because one of his cousins told him last year that santa wasn't real
