ughh

so today i tried to have another mature conversation with my SO about having another child
i shouldve known that somehow it would just upset him.

every time we talk about having a baby, he extends the "time frame" to add on another year.
now he wants to wait until im done with college, but then he wants to go to college after, which means hell want to wait even longer
if we wait until im done with college, my son will be around 6 when the baby is born, and i think that is just too big of an age difference.

im not asking for opinions, im just venting to the people who know what im going through, and who may be going through the same thing.

and after the BS about wanting to wait until im done with school, he started talking about how hes not ready because he wants one of us to be able to be home with the new baby

which i took offense to, since i already HAVE a child, and i think im a damn good mother. just because i work and have school doesnt make me any less of a mother, and it seemed to me that thats what he was insinuating.
and then i was like "well if you want one of us to be home with the baby, and you want to go to school too, why the hell am i even in college if i cant get a job after i finish because you want one of us to be home all the time with the baby?"

everything he says seems to turn into a giant contradiction..
im just miserable, and i dont know how much more of this i can take.

we have a house, we are financially stable, we have food to put on the table, and its just ridiculous.

 

and like i said, if you have a BS opinion, please take it elsewhere, because i am definitely not in the mood.

I understand the not wanting a big age gap but it's not so bad. My oldest will be 10 and my youngest will be 7.5 when this baby is born...

Apparently I'll be having 3 more after this one that are closer together (so easy for him to say lol)

Really there is no good time to have a baby, the more you put it off the older you get, the older your eggs get, the more complications that can occur and blah blah blah.

You're just going to have to tell him straight. Look I want another kid, I want one now so either put up or shove off. (no pun intended lol)

and i know the age difference isnt a HUGE deal, but ive just always wanted my kids to be closer together. my ex (BD) and i would have already had another one by now

ive already told him that eventually its going to come to a point where i have to decide whether or not hes worth staying with, because im not going to just throww everything i want away
