I think that everyone who is in the OP should stay in the OP. If you were added and you handled yourself professionally, and resolved the situation quickly people will see that. Being added to the OP of this thread once is not a sellers death sentence. Nothing personal, just how I feel.

The problem is most people aren't going to read the thread to see how the person "handled" themselves or what happened. I know I just check the list. I don't read this thread, nor do I care to, so I wouldn't know anything about the situation to know what happened. I just name check and move on. If the name was gone I would never know. If I had resolved I would maybe buy from them.

 I agree that once on the list, you stay on it.  The resolved thing seems to work...it let's people know that, yes, the person is listed in the thread, however the issue was taken care of in a way that was satisfactory to the buyer.
Just like doing a bad deal won't get you removed from great sellers, doing subsequent good deals shouldn't get you removed from bbw.

As far as what  Mindy was saying regarding really thinking before adding someone in here, I have to agree.  I think it's great that the issue can be hashed out and (usually) end up resolved within the thread, however I think she was referring to people coming in the thread and calling someone out, and then we come to find out they never pm'ed the person or otherwise contacted them about the problem.  In other words, BBW should not be the first place you go if you have an issue..the seller should be.
MOST people do abide by this, but some do not and that is what has caused some problems in the past.

Not really. I just think that no matter who it is should always be in the OP. If its resolved then it should say resolved. People who want more detail can check the page where they were called out.

I'm gonna put my 2 cents in.

I don't think anyone should ever be removed from the OP. I think showing 'resolved' is all that should be done. If I were a buyer , I would want to know if there was ever an issue with the seller .. even if it had been resolved. I think it should be up to the buyer to decide whether they would trust the seller or not. Some people might see resolved & be okay . . and others might decide not to take the chance. It's only fair. On ebay . . when someone gets a negative , it stays . . even if the issue has been resolved . . there will just be a note of what went wrong & that it was resolved. But the negative is still there. I always check feedbacks when I buy on there . . and I don't automatically not buy from a seller just because of a negative. So . . just because someones name is in the OP does not mean they will never sell another thing . . it just means that it is the buyers call to shop with them or not . . and a fair warning is given.
