do pap smears and internal exams hurt?

Again I have no experience - never had a doctor anywhere near that area  lol
I'm totally scared and uncomfortable about having an exam there. I'll get over it quickly i'm sure though! 

Nope...kind of uncomfortable but not painful.
I've had many and never been like "OH MY GOD THIS REALLY HURTS" just..."well, that's kind of uncomfortable."

naw. uncomfortable. but nothing noone cant handle.

I would say it's uncomfortable but I get over it within 5 minutes lol.

I was SO scared the first time I got mine.
I was 17. My doctor left me lying naked in the room for an hour because he got an emergency call...it was VERY scary. Than, once it was over I was like...really? Thats it? haha.

ya white , in ireland your not told to get one until your 25. You can if you feel you need it and I should have but never got round to it.

when i got my first pap smear , i cried , it hurt really bad , it kinda felt like they clipped a piece of skin out of me   ughh . i think it was just my old doctor , but the new one i got he did it and it didnt feel like anything , just uncomfortable , youll get over it though

Where I am your told to get one done when you are 16.
Or when you become sexually active.
