Baby rolling all over the crib in her sleep?

posted 21st Nov
I'm having to stop co-sleeping at night with Lillia because she has started moving so much in her sleep that its dangerous and she managed to fall off the bed this morning even though i had it blocked off well enough, (or so i thought) lucky she landed on a pillow and the bed is very close to the floor and she was fine just surprised. I was very upset that she fell off though and even though she was smiling and cooing right after it happened, i'm still upset that she could have gotten hurt. She is in her crib now and keeps moving all over the place in her sleep and i go in every few minutes and cover her back up......She's 6 months old and i'm just not sure if this means she is not sleeping well? Why is she moving so much in her sleep??

OT but I love the name Lillia. That is my daughters middle name. I really wanted to name her that but the hubby didn't really like it.

I think its normal for kids to be moving all around in their sleep. If you're worried about her being cold there are things called sleep sacks that are awesome.

It could be cold and shes trying to find a warm spot?

My daughter started rolling off the bed at about 6 months too. I started laying her in her crib for naps and then I put her down in her crib at night and then take her in bed with me when she wakes up. I didn't start doing that till 10 months though, till then I used a body pillow under the fited sheet and it worked really well. She couldn't push it off the bed and it was high enough to keep her from rolling over it.

But my daughter still scootsto the corner of the crib and likes to sleep with her head in the the corner of the bumper. I think it makes her feel like shes being held?

I have many pictures of my son doing this. I think its so funny! Im afraid to take the bumper out because he will mash his head into the crib!

yeah she's been mashing her face up against it but i dont think she is cold but even last night, she was snuggled up against my waist nice and warm and she ends up off the bed somehow.

O I know lol. I've though about taking the bumper out cause it kinda worries me to let her sleep that way (SIDS and all) but then she'd have nothing to snuggle into. Besides shes a year now and can move her face if she needed too.
