I say pull 'em off. My Dr. told me to pull them off 10 days after the c-section, I couldn't wait to get them off, they itched and drove me crazy! I pulled them off in the shower, my incision was/is fine, I am 7.5 months pp and my scar looks awesome, it is very light and not raised up or anything, it healed perfectly!

When do you get strips?? I got staples... I just had my first c section 2 days ago.

November 6th. Eeeek I'm glad I didn't get staples, I heard those are worse to deal with. How are you feeling? I surprised myself and actually started walking the second day.

The staples really don't bother me.. they are taking them out tomorrow before I go home. I'm feeling pretty awesome today. Got sick right after because of the extra medication they gave me. I had a freak out moment cause I could still feel pain alittle so they made me all loopy. But I starting eating solids the very next day and was able to get up and out of bed. Got to shower today and it felt AWESOME.. and I took the bandage off. Everything is looking good. I still look pregnant haha and I hate it.

Well that's awesome to hear! I would freakkkk out if I could still feel pain! The spinal kicked in in like 2 seconds when they gave it to me. But I was mowing food down and walking around. I think the more you move and stuff the better you recover. People were looking at me like I was crazy! They were like NO WAY you just had a c-section. Lol And yes those showers do feel awesome. I was on bedrest for over a week and couldn't get up to get one so when I finally did OMG it was better than sex. LMAO

I never got the chance to actually look preggo though...  It will go away, don't worry.

ah I got pretty big at the end. He ended up being 7lbs 15 oz and thats a week early! And he ate soooooooo much today. I'm breastfeeding but since my milk hasn't come in yet i'm doing the tube thing. He likes it though

Yea that is a big baby. It kinda upsets me that I didn't get to go through the whole experience but now I get to see him grow on the outside instead of through ultrasounds. They just started my LO on his feedings again. He gets .5mL every 3-4 hours. LOL! It's such a tiny drop but they have to prime his belly before he can actually eat eat. I have TONS of milk if you want some. Haha

awww.. its just good that your LO is doing good and everything. Thank god for the technology we have today!

Yep he's doing great! For today anyways. Lol
& Yes thank God!   It's keeping him alive that's for sure.

I still have mine and its been 3wks. I'm hoping they come off soon. they make me itchy.

I had my c-section on a Sunday. I went to see my doctor 10 days pp, (for them to check my son's circ and it's healing) and he saw my strips were still on. He pulled them off. I Did the same thing, in the shower, I was careful and made sure to pat them dry and they always ended back sticking. So it hurt some when they were pulled off. He said they could cause infection. But I dunno. I jsut know I got mine off after 10 days.
