re: ChiccoŽ C4 Stroller - Extreme?

I was just thinking that   so much for stroller talk!

I think I am set on the fleurville though - although a lot of the timi and leslies are cute! And thats what I keep telling all the people that think I am nuts for shelling out 150 on a bag! It is going to last!   And I found some strollers a little cheaper I liked too:

The green I like cause it would go with the diaper bag... and the other one looks cute but only comes in black, blue, or plum. I like the plum, but the diaper bag would clash   I dont know!   The Britax has some good ratings though! I wish it came in pink or green!

The Pliko is Fantasic! And it's totally worth the money! But, if you buy the matching carseat...the set easily comes to over $500! We have the Pliko and Primo Viaggio in Rose and it's been good to us...I am actually selling the set for $325...Since I have my bugaboo...and an older Primo Viaggio carseat w/a custom cover! I would check e-bay...if you are set on the Pliko!

The Brtiax is also good...I am a huge fan of their carseats...I bought my first one 10 years ago and have bought one for each kid since! But, the Vigour is bulky and heavy...unlike the Pliko, which is light wieght! Unfortunatly, you can only use the Britax Companion carseat with the Vigour...were as with the Pliko, the Primo Viaggio snaps in...but it comes with a strap to suit any brand of infant carrier! Good things about the Vigour is the unique design...the seat recline is much like the hand brake on a bicycle...great manuverability and the seat can face you or face out! Also, has an adjustable handle!

Lots to consider!

I thought that a matching diaper bag was important till I found one that I loved...no I could careless! LOL

The recommended age for the Britax Vigour is 6mo-4yrs... (do you know) does that mean that I cant use the stroller for a newborn without the infant carseat? I really am looking for a stroller I can put her right into since I plan on using a convertable one from day 1. I really like that the baby can face you and I think thats what I am going to go for! I found another fisher price one, and it is cheeper, but I am just not sure about the quality!

This is what I can figure...

Children under 6 months old should have a stroller that can recline into a flat position (amazon.com says till 3 months)! Even though it has the "infinite" recline, it's because the seat doesn't lay flat! It just tips...so there is always that bump where their butt sits so the baby's legs would be in the air. (If you can picture that)?!

Have you seen the Pliko Pramette's! We are talking an extra $80 over the Vigour, but you can use it from birth and the baby can face you...it comes with a cupholder (which the vigour doesn't but you'll find out is worth $80 just to be able to get to a drink! LOL) and the Pliko is much lighter as the Vigour wieghs a whopping 29lbs! Plus, it comes in Mod Verde (that green color) that would match your OGO!

[img]OMG...why didn't I think of it sooner!? Have you seen the Bumbleride Flyers!? The handle is reversible...and the wheels lock so it's easy to manuver! It costs around $350 and the fabrics are SUPER cute! It comes with a footmuff and when it's attached it makes an "infant carriage bed" (got that off thier website) This is what my hubby wanted to get...which I almost agreed too...except my stupid BFF went out and bought one right before we did...she found her's used and it's a MUCH older model...but, still...I definatly didn't want her to say that I got mine cause she got hers. (she's like that)

I think the 2006 fabrics are cuter but, the 2007 are just as nice...this is the one we almost bought...

Here's a link to Bumbleride...they also have the Rocket (3 wheel) and the Queen B (carriage style)

I was looking at the Bunblerides - but they dont have the pink anymore   And the green is a little off from what I want (plus it has blue accents which I just cant have for my little girl - lol). If they still had that pink one I would probably go for it!

Wednesday I am hoping to get out to the store that carries the Fleurville and they also carry some higher end strollers so I am going to check out the Pliko and the Pramette (if they have them). I am pretty sure they dont have the Britax though. I think I did see the bumblerides on their website - so hopefully I can check that out too! Besides a Bugaboo, I think that those are what I am going to be looking for on CL.

What really stinks is that I am leaving the DC area in about a week for Rochester, NY. DC has a lot more of the high end things than Rochester has, so I am pretty sure my chances of finding something used in NY are a lot less than here! ugh!

I am glad you dont live near me - I have a feeling I could get in serious financial trouble shopping with you! lol

I'm so jealous! I would love to live in a city that has a huge craigslist...although I'd probably get in trouble...I'm from the Bay Area where the whole CL thing started and I can't believe how it's taken off! Unfortumatly, when I try to sell things on the Savannah CL it takes forever...cause I just don't think people really know about it yet!

But anyways...if you find a Bumbleride that's reasonably priced then maybe getting an extra fabric set in Bloom would be worth buying...here's a link to the fabric set!
http://www.mylittlechild.com/Strollers/Bloom_Fabric_Set_for_Rocket_and_Flyer_Strollers.html

And you're not the first person to say they'd get into trouble shopping with me! LOL Mostly, it's the husbands saying you can NEVER go shopping with her! LOL But, I'm lucky and I seem to find the bargains!

But, which ever bag you choose wether it's the fluerville or the timi & leslie...you won't be disappointed! And don't feel bad about spending the money...I mean you have to carry this thing around for the next 2-3 years...it might as well be something CUTE! LOL Plus, you don't want something cheap that's gonna fall apart...like all the Eddie Bauer & Carter's diaper bags (pieces of crap) Sure they only cost $20 but, after the zipper breaks or the velcro stich falls out...you're gonna have to buy another one anyways!

Your name should really be shopping guru lol I always see you answering the threads about buying this or that and your answers are always so in detail and helpful

NO! lol. (the second one does remind me of grannie curtains - haha). I cant even consider anything but the pink ogo. It is my absolute favorite! I also like it cause it will go with her nursery too! I love pink and green together!

Here's the nursery set if you are interested in checking it out! http://www.target.com/gp/detail.html/ref=br_1_4/602-4675703-2849414?ie=UTF8&frombrowse=1&asin=B000HWIFJY
It was finally purchased off my registry so I can officially say that it is MINE!

I am pretty sure that I will like the Bumbleride - I wish they would email me back to tell me that they still have it (I am impatient!) But I know I will end up getting the cover too eventually!
