My poor baby

She broke my heart into a million pieces today, she got her 6 month vaccinations done today and she was okay with the first one, which was meningitis, but then the 2nd one, her ped told me this one will hurt because it burns going in, she let out thispiercing scream and then cried and cried and cried, took us almost 20 minutes to calm her down. After 10 mins of uncontrollable crying, her pediatrican gave her some tempra, hoping that would help with the pain. I feel so bad for our little babies, they don't understand, they just know it hurts.

My son got his 4 month shots yesterday and it broke my heart for him to be in tears.

Yea.. my daughter just got her 1 year shots a couple weeks ago and it made me sad listening to her cry

I know exactly how you feel! We just had my LO's 4 month shots today and she was crying so hard I thought she was going to hyperventilate! It's so hard watching them go through pain!

Yeah it definitely is, I almost cry myself. I like the cuddles though, but I prefer cuddles when she is not in pain.

The first time I did cry myself! This time it was like she knew what was coming bc she started crying as soon as they gave her the oral one! Poor thing it's like she remembers!

Awww Alise, make sure you hold his hand, that seems to help Anya through it, even though it feels like she was going to break my finger today and lots and lots of cuddles afterwards.

Ella gets her 6mo shots Monday, but the past 2 rounds KILLED me! She's really good with them, but right when she gets them she just screams and screams.

Oh Ashlee, since Ella is getting her 6 month ones, its harder than the other 2. Her pediatrician said this is one of the worst ones he gives, its a 5 in 1 vaccine. Anya didn't cry like this with her 2 month or her 4 month shots, she cried so much harder. Sorry to tell you that, I just want you to be prepared.

but for her 6 months shots.. she didn't even make a peep!
