Wouldn't it be great if..

At the same time you had a c-section that your insurance would pay for a tummy tuck too? (This is mostly i guess for c section ladies--i have to have one for medical reasons, so there is no choice here). I think the procedure is called a C-tuck.....but good luck finding any insurance company to pay for it. I cant think of any reason why it would be medically necessary.....but i sure would love to have it done so i dont have that pouch after pregnancy.

Ahhh......wishful thinking is wonderful at 4 am!

Are you saying women who have c sections do it so they can have surgery later to get a tummy tuck? Didn't quite understand what you were trying to say but then again it is 5:30 am here and I have been up since 12 with only having 3 hours of sleep. haha

She saying that it would be awesome if doctors would go ahead and give you a tummy tuck after they remove the baby during a c-section.

I ahve the worst pouch I have seen, no idding, I ahve NEVER had a c-section though. Over here if you havea hernia in your stomach they will take it out and give you a tummy tuck on the NHS.

OOh yess i am in that lovely no sleep pattern too lol! No, what i meant was that if you had to have a c section-whether it be planned because of medical problems or even just if your vaginal delivery didnt work out, wouldnt it be awesome to have a tummy tuck done too so that you could go back to being skinny again without the pouch that never seems to go away after pregnancy?

I didnt mean it like have a c section just for the tummy tuck....but i guess im just thinking on the keyboard here lol. I used to have a muscular, toned stomach and even though i did become thin again after my first child, no matter what i do cannot totally get rid of the flab.....the muscle is evident under the pouch....but its like that extra skin just wont go! So im wishing out loud lol.

Oh I gotcha! Yea that would be cool but your uterus would cause you problems I would think since it takes a while to go back to normal. I wouldn't get it but would after I am completely healed months after the baby is born.

Yeah i wonder if your uterus would cause problems if one did that....im not sure...i thought of this topic a few minutes ago after i saw some quiz on fb about britney spears and i remember reading that after her second son was born she had one done herself....of course she had the money to do it back then!

It sure has! No amount of crunches/sit ups worked for my belly....and it sucks because i always had worked out and i liked to wear ( and still do) form-fitting clothes than show off the body because im proud of what i looked like.....and so the thought of flab makes me go to my favorite stores and think twice about buying that cute shirt...
