toddler bed

When did you mama's put your LO's in a toddler bed. Mason will be a year December 4th and I think He would do good in one soon. Pros/cons? Thanks ladies. I found a bed that starts at 15 months.

Evan is still in a crib and he turned two in June. He is such a wild sleeper that he really needs to be in a crib still. I think I'll just get him a twin bed in a few months though.

We just put my Daughter in a toddler bed last night at 18 months, and that was only because her Brother is taking over her crib. She did really well though only woke up an hour earlier then normal and went to sleep with no problems.

Thanks! Is your LO showing any signs of needing to be transferred? I honestly wouldn't do it unless he's trying to climb out.

If he can't see me (his crib is in our room til we move in January) then he will try to climb out. He is tall and I have his bed lowered and he can still climb pretty easily so I am getting nervous. He still has issues though going to sleep. He goes to bed in bed with me and I transfer him. He will stay in after that though till 9 or 10am

Ahh ok, yeah Natalie never tried to climb out but she also goes to sleep on her own so I guess I'm not much help  

I put my son in his at 14mts. I just baby gate his room bc we have steps in case he ever decided to get up.
