You should be able to exchange them for a different size.

I have exchanged diapers that I got as a gift, without a receipt but maybe things are different over here

they will- I've done it. they will even give you a gift card to use as you please

Yeah you can do that at wal-mart they'll just give you a gift card if you have no receipt

You probably won't need that many newborn packs, but it's hard to tell, really. Every baby is different. We actually went through a lot of newborn diapers... He used them until he was about a month old.

If you feel that you have too many, though, you can go back and exchange them for a different size. Or just wait and see when the baby gets here and if you find that you need to, exchange them then. Either way.

Parents Choice are my favorite diapers. They're super cheap and I've never had any leaks or poopy blowouts. But out of the more expensive brands, I would choose Luvs as my favorite. I hate Huggies, though... For some reason, they always seem to feel damp in the front after my little guy pees. Almost like the pee is soaking through. But don't let that sway your choice of diapers... I've heard of a lot of people really liking Huggies.
