Peeing when you sneeze..

Anyone else have this wonderful joy of pregnancy?

I was christmas shopping yesterday, at the mall, and I had a really big sneeze. My sister goes "Bless you" and I'm like "OMG, I just pee'd myself!".   So embarrasing when you're out in public, haha!

theres actually a exercise you can do while sitting anywhere called Kegils or something like that, that strengthens you muscles down there so you don't do that allot. You know how your you go pee and you may stop mid stream for some reason well thats alls to it you do like you stopping yourself mid stream hold it for 10 sec and relax and do about 5 2 times a day and you can do them anywhere even while your peeing lol. Work for me iv only leaked once lol.

i'll have to try doing them, lol. anything that prevents stuff like that would be awesome!

Ive been doing kegals since I had my son 4 years ago.I continued them after I had him so I could prepare for my next baby Im 20 weeks now and It seems the kegals havent helped a whole bunch cause I still pee sometimes when I sneeze. I think thats partly due to my extremely violent sneezing. *shrugs* who knows?

Yeah definetly do your keigels, anytime you are sitting watching tv or something lol. Even if you are doing them, you probably will still have some "accidents" hehe, but it will help!

ONE TIME I WAS BRUSHING MY TEETH AND NEEDED TO SNEEZE SO BAD, AND MY HUSBAND IS RIGHT BESIDE ME BRUSHING HIS TEETH TOO...I SNEEZE AND JAZ FELT SOMETHING WARM DRIPPING BETWEEN MY LEGS...OMIGOSH I JAZ PEED MYSELF!!! AND THE TOOTHPASTE IS ALL OVER MY FACE!!! MY HUSBAND LAUGHED SO HARD THAT EMBARASSED ME AT FIRST BUT IT MADE ME LAUGH TOO CAUSE ITS REALLY FUNNY!!! THEN HE SAID ITS OK BABY, ITS JAZ PEE...AND MADE ME FEEL BETTER...

Yeah, I peed myself when I was laughing the other day.

Oh course its soo normal to pee on your self trust me i thaught i was the only one...My bladder is soo messed up its not even funny...I got sick for almost a whole month while i was pregnant..And a cough and sneezed and light headed...An every time i would sneeze or couch or even puked the couple times i did i pissed soo bad...I never done it in public...My mom and sisters would always laugh at me but im like hey i just have a problem being pregnant every pregnant person well almost every pregnant women had to pee on their self...All that pressure of the baby and every thing its normal...

I have peed on myself a few times because of sneezing. I didn't even feel like I needed to go pee at the time I sneezed, it just came out of no where. I thought it was to soon for all of that to start happening since i am only 19 weeks as of today. It started about a week ago

Yes its normal try wearing a pad when you go out in public i do as i have a long drive home and i sneez alot due to alergies for which i cant take anything that way you dont mess your clothes or anything .... Pelvic floor excersie is supposed to help but i find it soo hard to do them and then baby starts kicking so i cant do them...

Plus try to avoid the "face" when doing the excersie it kinda looks like this  

I do it all the time..I wear a panty liner!!

i have that same problem ... except it's not when i sneeze ... it's when i cough ... it sucks!

You know, I was warned about that...but I haven't peed myself at all and I'm 32 almost 33 wks. ^_^ Guess I'm lucky...or I have some remarkably strong pelvic muscles...lol I don't know. I can only imagine how much that must just suck though. lol
