RH Negative?!?!

Basically I want to know if there is any mommies on here who are RH Negative with RH possitive babies and have more then one child?
I am like freaking out that what if my body is going to fight off my nest babies?!?! I heard of it happening...... But I did get my RhoGAM during pregnancy and after labor.... do you know how soon they supposted to give it to you after labor? I got mine the next day i believe

If you got rhogam you are fine. I am also RH negtive (o neg blood type) and my son is A + . I got rhogam at 19 weeks because I had a subchorionic bleed, 28 weeks when you usually get it and then again the day after I delivered. My Dr. told me I will be fine to have another baby and my body wont try to fight it off bc I had rhogam.

I am RH negative, I had a miscarriage with my first baby, never got the shot after the miscarriage because my DR. was an idiot. I had a Healthy baby after that. As long as you get the shots you should be fine. Oh and my daughter is RH positive

o0o ok I am O- as well and my son was O+ .....it just worried me alot.. but then again i had a nurse takin care of me when i was in the hospitak who was prego with her second... she had a little 2 year old boy at home and she was due this past october with a little girl.. and i dont kno how the subject came up but she was O- like me and her son at home was O+ like my son.. and she was of course expecting another baby.. and she was 7 months prego then.... so thinking about that story and how similar we are brings me a little peace...

As long as you had the shot, you should be in the clear for getting pregnant again. Good luck with whatever you decide to do

It is scary to think about. When my Dr first told me I was rh negitive and had to have shots bc it could affect future pregnancies, I was so scared and I think I actually posted on here about it too. The idea of your own body attacking your child is scary but thats why we have rhogam! Thank God for that!

My mom and i both are Rh- My mom had the shot with all 3 of us, my brothers were POS and I was NEG and we were all just fine! My daughter is also POS and my OB said i'll be just fine no matter what the next is.

I found out at 5 weeks that I am RH- after a bleeding scare. I got the shot at 5 weeks and two more since then. Just as long as you have the shot you and your baby will be fine.

I am RH negative and my baby is RH positive. They gave me the shot in the middle of the night after I had Emma.
It'll be fine, just make sure you get all your shots.

well i am Rh negative. while pregnant with my first i got the shot at 26 weeks and he was rh negative also so the dr said that i didnt have to get 2nd shot. and i'm pregnant again 36 weeks and i didnt get the shot till i was 32 weeks.
I'm due December 14th (a girl), have 1 child & live in Excelsior Springs, Missouri
