it's like if you were to get bitten and viciously attacked by a dog..wouldn't u be scared of all dogs like that?

people don't say racist things just for the hell of it..they have underlying issues..

I'm just saying..
they may blame it on slave issues..blah blah blah..
but until you actually hear something about why they feel that way,
it begins to make more sense..

it also depends if your the type to hold grudges or if a similar situation happens over and over again....

everyone is so quick to judge and categorize all as one...
not all blacks are the same
not all asians are the same
not all hispanics are the same
not all whites are the same...
I hate stereotypical people and statistics ...they piss the hell out of me...

i never stereotype because 1 i wasnt raised like that and 2 I see it for my self that not everyone is the same.
we should be treated as a person, not for the color of our skin!

Stereotyping is still happening though. Are you fimilar w/ country music and a group called Sugarland and a song called "From the beginning"?

There is a part in the song where she says:

"A baby is born in the ghetto. A baby is born w/ a silver spoon. One tells his momma I have a dream. One tells his momma I'll walk the moon."

Martin Luther King JR came from a very predominate, well respected Baptist family. They were well off financially.

Neil Armstrong was born and raised in Wapakoneta, OH (my home town) and came from a barely-middle-class farming family. His father worked many many odd jobs just to keep food on the table.

I can assure you that Wapakoneta, Ohio is about as far away from a ghetto as can be so clearly she is referring to MLK Jr coming from a ghetto and she is wrong.....he was the one w/ the silver spoon. (Obviously repression aside.)

Sterotypes.   I really like that song but that part of the historical inaccuracy really bothers me.
