Group B Strep? Has anyone been induced because of it?

My test came back positive for Group B strep and I was just thinking about random things that could happen, and I was curious if you could possibly be induced for having it. Just curious!

Nope, they give you antiboitics when you are in labor through an IV

No you just get antibiotics.

No, you wont be induced for having it. Once you do go into labor, they give you antibiotics while in labor.

my mother had strep when i was born and i became infected with it and nearly died, i cant stress how important it is that you get treatment for it and make sure you're tested when you're pregnant. your baby doesnt contract it when your pregnant.. its during labour that they do, my mother wasnt given antibiotics and then they realized that she had it after she had gone into labour so they switched to a c section to try and lower the risk that i would get it from her, but i did.

all the photos they have of me when i was a few weeks old are me with needles in my body and in my head inside an incubator.. so its not something to play around with. make sure you're tested (pretty sure its mandatory anyways )

I had group b and was induced. But I was not induced because of the group b
