Is back pain a sign of coming labor?

Is back pain a sign that labor is coming soon?

I haven't felt any B-H contractions, but I feel a lot of pain in my lower back and sometimes twinges of pain in my pelvis when I walk.

Boy this last month is a challenge!

i had back pain 24-7!

Same here, I've had awful lower back pain since 33 weeks.

some have back labor. some feel both in abdomen and back.... but there are others who feel it only in the back... for me it was lower back and a sort of pulsating pain... started just before my water broke at home..

When I started having contractions, I had them in my lower back. It was awful, can't move, back pain.

Did you feel your baby kicking, too, at the same time? I am having back pain, lots of kicking and my morning sickness has returned.

when i got to the end i definately had nausea allover again, could barely eat bc when i did i felt full even though i hardly had anything to eat... when i had contractions she did move kinda.... its almost like she would jump and push her hands outwards as if trying to say "ah! get me outta here" lol

Ohmygosh! I know exactly how you felt. Esp. that jumping sensation. That's exactly how I feel. Thanks for your time and comments!!
