Both our son and daughter have C names (so do I), but we're having trouble finding a C name for number 3 if it's a boy.My daughter isn'tnamed after anyone and my son hasDH's dad's name for a middle name.My husband's name starts with J. Do you think would could do a J name if this a boy?

That's a good idea. My son's name is Cooper James and we were planning on calling him CJ if he wanted LoL

lol
It wasnt until I had picked Rachel out as a name that I thought "Oh crap, now there's two R's."
But at that point, that was the name we had chosen if she was a girl. We didnt settle on any boy names so she would've been screwed if she was a boy, lol

That's where I'm at now. We have the perfect girl name, but we're stuck on boy names, so I'm getting more excited for a girl since we have a name and I don't want to set myself up to be disappointed if it's a boy, KWIM?

My husband and I are having this discussion in advance of even TTC our second child. Our first daughter is named Phoebe and I love the name Penelope. But my husband and his best friend are like "No no, then you're doing the P thing." I will win in the end!

In my spare time (if there is such a thing), I type up genealogical records and it's always fun to see how families named their children. The most common trend I saw were very classic names like James, Elizabeth - and then somewhere around the 4th or 5th kid - they just go crazy and give their kid the name Pinkney or something like that lol.

Give your child a name you like - everyone will just get used to it.

Yeah you're right. I just don't want our kids to get older and by like, "Why didn't I get a C name?" IDK. I'm probably being pregnant paranoid. LoL

Nah, I understand that. But at least you and you're husband don't both have C names - then I think the kid would definitely feel left out. But maybe not. No telling what our crazy kids will be thinking!
