Nic was 100% potty trained for a month....

today he's been regressing.

it's possible. my dad's brother was 6 and started peeing the bed after my dad was born.

Mine took like 4-5 days.  
But now he's regressing.  

I think he was just distracted though. And angry.

We went until the diapers were gone and i told him no more diapers, mommy isn't buying anymore until Avin comes, and diapers will be be for Avin only. Kains a big boy now.
We went straight to undies. of course there were messed alot the first couple days. we went through every pair he had those two days (about 25 pairs)
I always told him we were going to go try to go potty I never asked if he had to go, because when tried to train him a few months back that failed. We tried every thirty min or so. I brought some of his books in with us so he would sit still long enough to try.
Even at night he wears his undies, no accidents which is a miracle because he goes to bed with a sippy of water on his night stand. when he wakes up now he runs to the bathroom.
When i had bought pullups in the past they came with a potty chart and "rewards" so everytime he went on the potty id hand him a marker and wed mark off what he did and he would get two M&ms and lots of happy words and claps from mama. After the bag was gone. about 4 days. we weaned him off the reward and praised him with words only.
Now he just tells me he has to go pee pee out his wee and runs in and does his business and flushes. and i help with hand washing.

Before this we tried the 3 day method didnt work. i dont think he was ready at that time yet.
We also tried pullups and those were to much like diapers for him.

My LO goes to bed with a sippy too, so I've VERY glad to hear your LO is fine at night in undies.

Oh, and I got some Gerber training pants (cotton undies, but they're thicker on the crotch than the sides so you have a few seconds to reach the potty before a biiig mess). Did you use these or just plain ole undies?

for the treats yes i just told him thier all gone. and by then he already had it almost down.

I just got plain ole 2t-3t faded glory undies from walmart 3 packs of them. and today he picked out toy story ones because i told him if he went like a big boy we would get buzz underwear LOL.

We did the same thing with treats. In the beginning we let him have 3 smarties, then backed it to 2, then 1. He was trained in 3 months, not days, but we only did the treats as incentive before he knew what he was supposed to do. Eventually he only got a treat when he would poop, because that was more of a fight for him and once he was consistent with that we would go nuts when he got done and if he didn't mention it then I didn't offer it. Finally, we just phased it out altogether and it wasn't really an issue. Occasionally he would ask and I would just distract him with playing or something.

Okay guys.. I haven't posted on this forum in a LONG time.

But I'm back.

I'm having a really hard time with potty training. I've tried pull-ups, I've tried underwear (I scrubbed the floor all day). We've tried sitting on the potty over and over and over again but he looses interest fast.

My son is almost 29 months and he still won't tell me when he has pooped in his diaper let alone peed. He has peed in the potty ONE time. I gave him a popsicle. I typically read to him while he's on the potty, but I have an 11 month old also so it gets a little tricky trying to spend all my attention on getting him to use the potty.

I'm considering going to find a doll that goes potty.

Any tips are VERY welcomed. PLEASE. -_-
