Quoting {ERF} Mom of a Genius:“ eh, the frequency of poo may decrease with the PT'ing starting out b/c many kids don't like to see their ... [snip!] ... cause constipation in themselves which only makes poo'ing painful...and well, you can see how a vicious cycle starts there!”

True. She's never had a problem going though. She turns around and said "Oooo POO POO!!! Mommy, POO POO!" lol

there was poop in the hallway to the bathroom too... and all over the floor.

she didn't bring an extra pair of undies either. he was crying so hard.
he ended up going back to the childrens area to play like nothing happened. at least i saw her wash his hands.
think the boy was younger than nic (newly 3) so why wouldn't she bring a spare?

Hello I'm Adry my son Sebastian will be 3 in July

I think I need help

My SO bought him a really cool Cars potty with a cushion seat and a little handle that makes Cars sounds.

Finally he learned not to pee in his undies and he sat down for his 1st pee. It got EVERYWHERE this kid hosed down the bathroom from just sitting on the potty and since that day he refuses to sit on the potty at all. Whenever he pees he freaks out (if he is not wearing a diaper)

::sigh::

what can I do?

Heck yeah! I would bring at least 2 spares, if not more just in case. You just never know with young kids.

Hi I'm jada and my son is Harrison. He is 16 months and shows signs of being ready to do the whole potty thing. Since he was under a year iw ould let him go around being naked but for short times. now that he has been walking since he was 10 months he will pee on the floor on the floor if i let him go to long without a diaper on. but it's rare when that happens. He has also taken a poop on the floor like twice. He doesnt seem freaked out about it. he seems more curious about what it is. I know that he always goes in his diaper after he eats and that he always grunts when he pees or poops. Oh and he pulls his diaper off a lot when he's wet and sometimes when he's not. and he loves being in the restroom. so how did you ladies go about potty training ur son's

Thank you for the links!! I followed the potty train in 3 days or less and my daughter is doing great! Only thing is that she wakes up at night because she pees. (we still have her in diapers at night) Does this just mean that I need to suck it up and night time potty train? We've only been potty training for a week but just can go the day without accidents!

If she wakes up before/as she pees, then yes I'd do nighttime training. If she wakes up after the fact...maybe wait until she had better sphincter control and can wake up pre-pee??

It'll just take time. Sounds like she's not learned the pressure feeling means something is about to come. So she's not completely ready.

My son has the same birthday ;) He has his own potty seat, hes had it for about 9 mos and actually he used it more when we first bought it than he does now lol we bought it just to introduce him but he actually peed on it a couple times now that i want him to use it he will sit on it sometimes but if he really has to go and hes on the potty he asks for a diaper because to him thats where you go potty so were trying to teach him that once you get bigger you go on the potty not in the diaper lol
