 Adison now will purposely tell me the wrong answer when I ask her about animals (things she knows like the back of her hand) and she laughs at me...time to toss her in the cold shower for her regression!

i know! i tried to make a big deal out of that and ignore the trapping but she clung onto that like crazy! she kept saying "The grandma pooped on the floor and I couldn't get out it was scary!!!" I said "i know you were scared, but nothing bad happened. Mommy was right there waiting to get you and we're okay now" and she said "yeah" but still wouldn't use the toilet for a week.

Isnt also a case of knowing your child though. He started with the eww gross. He said it everytime I changed the babys diaper. He is a strong willed child who will attempt to manipulate us unless we make sure he know who is in charge.

once they are ready it takes like 1-2 weeks. I think that the main reason Lydia sometimes has accidents (well, reasons) is that 1. she is still so young and can't hold for TOO long so if we are out and too far from a potty it happens...and 2. it's not novel so she will get busy and forget to tell me.

but really until the scary grandma crap incident she hadn't had an accident in 2 1/2 months except two or three at night

bahahha Lydia does that too!!!! she'll say "it's a elephant" when it is CLEARLY a dog and laugh at herself!!! lol. I'm thinking maybe a cold shower in a tub full of ice is called for here since she KNOWS she's doing something wrong.

It doesnt take anytime at all once thay are ready does it. It was like a switch went on for Ry.

 Adison will do that too. Or she'll say kitty or cat for the cat and then claims it says woof.  She then either laughs at me, or she will stare at me like she is daring me to tell her she is wrong. LOL she is so funny! 
Make sure she knows that you and the animal kingdom are disappointed.
