Verry weird!!

My kids have finally started playing outside with the neighbor kids. It is stressful for us because if the children are outside, we are outside. It's just so hard nowadays with the way the world is, you really have to watch your children all the time. So we stay outside and we watch while they're playing.

Anyway, my son found a new friend, and I think they play very nice, unlike the other neighbor boy, they play very well together. Anyway, any time this kid comes to the house to get my son, my husband always tells him, no, he can't go out to play. I don't get it. When I ask him if he doesn't like the kid, is there some reason he doesn't want our kid playing with this kid, he says no. What could be his problem?

I think he wants to keep our children in the house and make them weird and unsocial like we are. We, as a couple, have no friends. We are in the house together ALL the time. He has no friends. It's so weird.

What should I do to make my husband ease up, because when he says no, I get upset. Then I talk to my husband about it and then tell my children to go play. I don't want to make my childen social misfits.

tell him to STFU, kids NEED to socialise and to have friends!

It's about to come to that. I don't understand why he would want them cooped up in the house with US all the time, it makes no sense. I could see if this kid were vicious, evil and the like, but all he wants to do is play. They all play very well together. I keep asking him, well, what's going on with you, is there something that you don't like. He just shrugs and says no.

so tell him "if you have NO good reason why he shouldn't go out and play then he will go" I would.

Oh they're playing together now. It makes no sense. I usually try to be behind him on everything, but this is silly.

so tell him and don't stand for it! I wouldn't be up for him even saying he couldn't play out but JMO
