For a woman with an average 28 day cycle, 14 to 16 days after your period. (Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong )
My period ends on the 30th/31st and I conceieved on the 14th.

Well.
I'm going to go with "after"... because if you try to conceive and then expect a period... that's just silly.

both times ive gotten pregnant, i counted 8 days from the 1st day of my period, i had sex for 4 days in a row starting on the 8th day... worked both times

BUT
Typically on a 28 day cycle, one ovulates on day 14.
So you have sex on days 8, 10, 12, 14, 16.
Every other day so it doesnt diminish sperm count.

I heard that if you want a boy you should have sex as close to your ovulation date as possible (ie ON day 14) and if you'd prefer a girl to have sex 2-3 days before your ovulation date. The reason being that "boy" sperm (sperm that will produce a boy) swim faster but die sooner, and "girl" sperm swim slower but live longer. So if you have sex a few days before ovulation the male sperm will die off and leave the female sperm to find a nice ripe egg..
Idk just something I heard. Anyone hear anything similar? And do you think that my chances of having a boy are increased because I conceived on the 14th day after my period? Hrmmm lol.

Yes I've heard of this but I don't know how true this is and if it differs from person to person.
I'm due August 10th, have 3 kids & 1 angel baby & live in Blackwood, New Jersey
