People were up an hour ago!!??? WEird. I was up an hour ago. Unwillingly, of course. Stupid Nigella.

i hope so! I so want to throw it in the doctors face. I caught the doctor talking shit about me to her nurses. I told her i know you arent talking about me. She told yes i am. Then went off on how i was lieing about the iron drops and the reason why she wasnt walking. I told her well i tell you what you are suppose to be a professional and you are acting like a complete moron. Lizzy has medicade and they will only pay for so much. I was trying to eplain to her that medicade wont pay for it because its over the counter. Even the pharmacie that she sent me to told me the same thing. But i got them to order me some so i can pick it up today. Thinking of calling the clinic and asking if there is someone i can complain to. I feel like because i work and dont sit at home all day like all the welfare moms she sees that shes saying i am a bad mother.

Wait, so lizzy is supposed to be on an iron supplement and isn't? And not walking at 15 months or so isn't all that abnormal, a lot of kids don't (or often, they can but won't). I know a girl who will be 2 in May who isn't walking, talking, and is/was VERY anemic until they got her on iron drops.

I need help   Toby is being the biggest pain when it comes to bed time. He's just gotten two molars through, and another one is on the way but the fight he puts up when it comes to going to sleep is ridiculous. It's driving me insane! He screams and screams as soon as he's put in the cot. Today the only way he would take his naps is by us sitting beside him on the couch, and he would fall asleep beside us. It took an hour and a half for him to fall asleep tonight. We put him down at 8:30, he screamed for half an hour so we brought him out here and he hopped on the couch and ALMOST fell asleep. But then I got up, so he hopped up and just started laying on the floor in random spots for about an hour. Then I put him back in his bed, he screamed for 5 minutes so I went and sat on the floor beside it. He stood there for 5 minutes yelling at me and eventually laid down. I'm sick of it taking this much to get him to sleep.

He used to go straight to sleep before, but as soon as we tried him in the toddler bed he just doesn't want to go to sleep. Any tips?

Maybe he's suspicious about something going on? Maybe right now isn't the best time for a toddler bed? Or did I misread it and you're not even trying to 'bed' anymore? Are you guys keeping the same routine?

Enfamil makes drops over the counter that only run about $5-7

Can you sit beside his bed and pat/ talk softly to him while soft music plays? I had to do that with JJ last night or he would just get up.

Also, pretending to fall asleep next to him could help. put your head on his pillow and let him get close to you while you breath deeply and make sleepy eyes, close your eyes every so often and just peek a bit like you are REALLY tired.

Ultimately that is how we broke Joe of sleeping in our bed.

shingles is too. I had shingles and had to take Valtrex, the herpes med, for a week.

I hope its not herpes either, I can't even imagine the pain and ot have that recur EEK.

Whoa, weird. Someone on my FB has a friend named Jen True. At first I was like, "whoa, wth?" and then I remebered Jen has a new last name!

Emory started it too. Its driving me nuts. But she's not screaming she's whining and yelling for us to come in. She picked up on if she makes enough noise we go in. So last night we sat in the dark outsidethe bedroomdoor...or more like Jason did and when she'd get up he'd tell her to lay down. Lo and behold she did LOL. After a while she wasn't getting up but just whining so he went in and laid on the bed and pretended to be asleep, she was still in her crib and she went to sleep. I think she just wants somebody in there with her.

Nigella likes having someone in the room with her, too. She's waking up a fair bit at night and she'll settle and lay down if you sit there, but if you move she's instantly sitting up looking for you. We dropped the temperature in the house again (we cranked it up as Orrin was being born, and left it there until a couple days ago) so now it's too cold at night to sit beside her crib for ages while she slowly falls asleep.
