babies with weird shaped heads?

she has a bump on the top of her head. I am bringing it up to the doctor next week. She is four months old This picture was taken when she was two months old. Lilah didnt have this issue-- does any of your kiddos have a weird bump on their head? its near the middle-front part of the top of the head.

Em has it, I thought it was normal  

I don't see anything. Is it a soft bump? Near where her soft spot is?

Maybe her bones are just fusing slower, ?


I had this friend who has a 7 month old her and the back of her head is flat as a board. It's awful... she says it's normal. No - it's not, haha.

Could be her soft spot. I wouldnt worry about it. I honestly dont see anything on the picture that would cause concern.

I don't know about bumps although I don't see any in the picture.
But I do know I have a really flat spot on the topish middle of my head.
I would ask, just when you go to the doctor if you should be concerned about it or not and see what they have to say. I wouldn't worry just yet, but it's good to be aware.

It could be just an overlapped suture but its definitely something that you should have checked out, if its fusing too early it needs to be attended to asap

I can't tell to much from the picture, but if it looks like what I think I see then yes Jake does too. LOL. That was mouthful.

But daughter has a lump the size of a large marble on the back of her head..she has had it since she was little and it has grown in size a little..is the lump solid? does it move around when you try to move it? if so more than likely its a lymph node and its very common and nothing to worry about

Also, my boyfriend hs a bump on the top of his head it's really hard too, he's very keen about it when he cuts his hair really short and freaks out if I mention it, but he's in perfect health etc.
