question

okay so i went in to L&D earlier because i was having contractions 5 minutes apart but they werent strong enough i was still 1cm but 50% effaced i was sent home and now they are hurting even more and are still between 4-6 min apart how do i know when to call im not trying to go back and forth all night?

screw that! LOL Id be sitting in their waiting area until they let me have a room...especially if your 5 min apart and they are now even stronger

My dr told me to come in when they were 3 minutes apart consistantly. But that might just be because we live in a small town and the hospital is no more then 2 miles away. If your unsure I would call your dr and see when he/she wants you to go in.

I would call L&D and explain that you were just in. Ask them. I was in this weekend and they were 1-2 minutes apart. Crazy I know, but they didn't change anything. They sent me home andtold me to come in when they were so bad I wanted to "chew the carpet." I guess it depends...
